Islam derived from the Arabic word, "Salaama" means "peace", "welfare" and in Arabic language in can be transform into "salm" means "peace", "aslama" means "submission", "saliim" means "clean, holy" and "salaam" means "welfare". So Islam literally means "Way to/of peace, welfare, holiness, by submitting to God". God created and named this religion brought by Muhammad SAW to universe, for instance in AL Qur'an Surah Al Maidah Verse 3. And contrary to the purpose of genuine Judaism and Jesus' teaching (of which then evolved to Christianity) to only be taught to Jews (Bani Israil), Islam is supposed to become "rahmatan lil 'aalamiin" or "blessing for the universe" including for all mankind and the Al Qur'an is for the reminder (Al Qur'an Al Qur'an Chapter Al Furqaan Verse 1 or 25:1) and connection to the previous Holy Books (Al Qur'an Chapter Ali Imraan or 3:3).

I guess similarities among Islam & present Judaism is more than with present Christianity, since MOST Christians esp. Moreover, trinitarian version of Christianity hadn't been acepted untill 3rd-4th century, after Nicea-Chaldecon Concili. Especially after Paulus, Theopilus, etc. popped-up the idea & Bishop Athanasius, King Constantine & King Theodophilus of Rome URGED & EVEN FORCED people to convert to Trinitarian (read Andrew Langs' book "The Making Of Religion", Th J. Plange's "Christus ein Inder", "The New Catholic Encyclopedia, 1967, Book XIV", Arnold toynbee's "A Study of History"). Ever heard about the Inquisition slaughtering era during mid Ages toward European Muslim & Jewish, European Catholics killing non-Catholics including Protestants or even Catholics who wouldn't believe in Trinitarian (because actually they couldn't find any clear statement on it in the Bible)? Why? If we literally refer to the religion (Islam) brought by Muhammad SAW, of course it started 1428 years ago. But as any muslim (and scholars form other religions) must've already known, Islam or this Unitarian belief (="Tauhid", in Arabic Langauge)did not started by Muhammad SAW. He only continued and perfected the legacy of Prophets before him (started from the first human, the first Prophet, Adam AS), stated clearly by him and by Al Qur'an, even by Holy Books before him. They carried out the same messages, it was human who had always spoiled them.

Al Qur'an (and of course Islam) is really form God, proven by Science:
-Islam on common sense/logic-science: Do U know Galileo stated Earth's not center of universe? Church insisted supporting OPPOSITE idea (see Joshua 10:12-13) while Al Qur'an stated it long BEFORE proven by Science? Al Qur'an Surah/Chapter Al–Ambiya Vrs 33 says Allah created night & day, sun & moon each 1 travelling in an orbit with its own motion: 021.033 "Wahuwa alla[th]ee khalaqa allayla wa(al)nnah[a]ra wa(al)shshamsa wa(a)lqamara kullun fee falakin YASBAH[h]OON(a) (Arabic written in english letters)" OR “It is God Who created the Night and the Day & the sun & the moon: all (the celestial bodies) SWIM along, each in its rounded course.” EXPLANATION: now we know Sun in respect to Earth (Earth & Moon rotated about in axis but), Sun’s stationary. The Arabic word ‘Yasbahoon’ derived from ‘Sabaha’ describes motion of a moving body. If I say a person is doing ‘Sabaha’ in water doesn’t mean he’s floating but swimming. SIMILARLY when Qur'an uses word ‘Yasbahoon’ for a celestial body does not mean it’s swimming BUT it’s ROTATING about its own axis. And we've come 2 know IMAGE of Sun on the table top & see there R black spots. Takes approximately 25 days 4 these black spots 2 complete 1 rotation indicating Sun takes same time too. Can U imagine Qur'an brought by illiterate Muhammad SAW speaks on rotation & revolution of Sun 1400 years ago while Ancient people used to believe Sun revolves around Earth? Later (1512) Copernicus laid his Heliocentric Theory of Planetary motion placed Sun motionless in center of Solar System all planets revolving around it (not still but is in motion days 2 complete 1 rotation). Galileo's convinced too. He spread out this but considered INFIDEL by Church!
- Bible agrees that the Pharaoh drowned when he tried to pursue Moses/Musa AS (PBUh) who led the Israelites across a stretch of water that they crossed. The Qur’an gives an additional piece of information in Surah Yunus/chpt 10, verse 92: “This day shall We save thee in thy body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! But verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!”. Dr. Maurice Bucaille, after a thorough research proved that although Rameses II was known to have persecuted the Israelites as per the Bible, he actually died while Moses AS was taking refuge in Median. Rameses II’s son Merneptah who succeeded him as Pharaoh drowned during the exodus. In 1898 the mummified body of Merneptah was found in the valley of Kings in Egypt. In 1975, Dr. Maurice Bucaille with other doctors received permission to examine the Mummy of Merneptah, the findings of which proved that Merneptah probably died from drowning or a violent shock which immediately preceeded the moment of drowning. Thus the Qur’anic verse that GOD shall save his body as a sign, has been fulfilled by the Pharaohs’ body being kept at the Royal Mummies room in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. This verse of the Qur’an compelled Dr. Maurice Bucaille who was a Christian then, to study the Qur’an. Christians quote these verses to put their innocent impression upon others, ‘No NON ISRAELITE KING’ over Israel. This is not the reality if you analyze this by keeping the facts that both Ishmael & Isaac – peace and blessings of Almighty Allah be upon them – are brothers & in that sense their children are ‘Brethren’ to each other. Now when the verse says “among thy brethren” it may mean “your Ishmaelite brothers” & when the verse says “not set a stranger over thee” it may mean “One who is not among your kin” as it is more clear on further reading of the same verse “who is not thy brother”. Ishmaelites are BROTHERS to Israelites. So the chance of ‘Ishmaelite’ being a king over Israelite is not at all demolished. As the Prophecy reads as follows: "I WILL RAISE THEM UP A PROPHET FROM AMONG THEIR BRETHREN LIKE UNTO THEE......." The emphasis is on the words- "From among their brethren." Abraham had two wives -Sarah & Hagar. Hagar bore Abraham HIS FIRST-BORN, '...And Abraham called HIS SON'S name, which Hagar bare Ishmael.' (Genesis 16:15). 'And Abraham took Ishmael HIS SON..." (Genesis 17:23). 'And Ishmael HIS SON was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.' (Genesis 17:25). Up to the age of 13 Ishmael was the ONLY son & seed of Abraham when the covenant was ratified between God & Abraham. God grants Abraham another son through Sarah named Isaac who was very much the junior to his brother Ishmael. If Ishmael & Isaac r the sons of the same father Abraham then they r brothers! And so children of the one are the BRETHREN of the children of the other (Jews & Arabs) - so they are BRETHREN to one another. The Bible affirms, 'AND HE (ISHMAEL) SHALL DWELL IN THE PRESENCE OF ALL HIS BRETHREN.' (Genesis 16:12). 'AND HE (ISHMAEL) DIED IN THE PRESENCE OF ALL HIS BRETHREN.(Genesis 25:18). In like manner Muhammad is from among the brethren of the Israelites because he was a descendant of Ishmael the son of Abraham. This exactly as the prophecy has it- 'FROM AMONG THEIR BRETHREN'.(Deut.18:18). There the prophecy distinctly mentions that THE COMING prophet who WOULD BE LIKE Moses, must arise NOT from the 'children of Israel' or from 'among themselves', but from among their brethren. Then the most important words of this prophecy are - like unto thee, - LIKE YOU - like Moses. DOES JESUS LIKE MOSES? True, Moses & Jesus were JEWs; 2nd Moses was known by God 'face to face'/God spoke to him & Jesus directly; 3rd Moses known 2 b performing awesome miracles & Jesus also performed awesome miracles" BUT JESUS IS NOT LIKE MOSES because 1st 'JESUS IS A GOD' but Moses is not God. 2ndly according to Christendom -'JESUS DIED FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD' but Moses did not have to die for the sins of the world. "3rdly according to Christendom - 'JESUS WENT TO HELL FOR THREE DAYS' but Moses did not have to go there. Therefore Jesus is not like Moses!

THEN WHO IS LIKE MOSES? Muhammad SAW! WHY?1>"Think not that I have come to abolish the law & the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfill them. Jesus/Isa AS the Messenger of God, would never resort to such foul means to subvert the Religion of God. He himself fulfilled the laws. He observed the commandments of Moses & he respected the Sabbath. The fact is that, Muhammad gave his people a Law & Order they never had before. 2> Moses had a father & a mother, like Muhammad. But Jesus had only a mother & no human father. 3> Moses & Muhammad were born in the normal, natural course, i.e. the physical association of man & woman. But Jesus was created by a special miracle. 4> Moses & Muhammad married & begat children but Jesus remained a bachelor all his life. 5> Moses & Muhammad were accepted as prophets by their people in their very lifetime.
