sometimes when ya pray you feel that you aren;t being heard ,,thats just being normal since most will not get a direct answer ..We have to listen harder and just have faith that our prayers are being heard even if they are on Hold for an answer...God does things in HIS own time NOT ours...But this is a fact once 2 yrs ago I asked for a sign just find out if I was on the right tract about real problem and wanted God to just give me a real noticable sign that I was ok, so and I figured I would not understand and that everything I would see or do would be a sign ,,SO I asked him to for a shooting star to show me he heard and NO LIE I saw my 1st shooting star of the year within 5 mins,, I was SOOOOOOOO shook up I still can't get over that one,,,Was it a co insidence or what,,It still is unreal but VERY TRUE...I SWEAR ON MY LIFE !!! I will NEVER DOUBT again!!

I used to pray, when I was a teenager. Then one day I realized that I was talking to myself. That day I became an atheist. I've been much happier since then. Now I still talk to myself, but I call it meditation. Go with what you feel in your heart. Don't try to pretend to be something you just aren't. If prayer works for you today, do it. If meditation works for you today, do it. Just be true and know that you are not alone.

No, I know he hears me. I feel sometimes though, that I am not in the place I should be and that makes me feel far away from him. If I draw closer, he draws closer...if I feel a distance between us..I am the one who puts it there. Guilt over something, I have done and not confessed before him, even a small thing like gossiping to someone, can put a wedge between us. If you feel like that, check out what you've been up to lately.....maybe you need a check-up. I know I often do.

No, but I've often had the feeling that when I'm talking to myself, someone else is listening...

Yes, of course. But I believe God understood. I was deeply upset over the loss of a friend, and I was grieving. I felt empty and lost... my emotions just took over and my words were empty. God understands His children. He says, "Draw near to me and I'll draw near to you." I did. He did. It turned out ok.

No, I was not alone and God was listening to my prayers. If your prayers are Sincere, He will be with you and you will not be alone.
