Leviticus 7:26 and 27 are often used to declare God’s law against Blood Transfusions
However in many a Witnesses home I have partaken of Rare beef, and Fat

as forbid in the very same section:

Leviticus 7:26 -27
22 The LORD said to Moses, 23 "Say to the Israelites: 'Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats. 24 The fat of an animal found dead or torn by wild animals may be used for any other purpose, but you must not eat it. 25 Anyone who eats the fat of an animal from which an offering by fire may be [b] made to the LORD must be cut off from his people. 26 And wherever you live, you must not eat the blood of any bird or animal. 27 If anyone eats blood, that person must be cut off from his people.' "

Does that mean only half of Gods laws apply ?

In one, a Catholic owned business is required by state law to cover birth control under their employee insurance.

In the other, a church was barred from using the public library for worship services.

In other words, where, throughout
Protestantism's relatively brief life-span, can we find examples just one will do of sola scriptura actually working, functioning in such a way that it brings about doctrinal certitude and unity of doctrine among Christians?

I've noticed that Christians have blocked many atheists and agnostics and then go and ask questions about science and proof. This to me is a strong indication that they are afraid to hear opposing sides of the argument. Granted, people can be brutal on answers, but that's a poor reason to block. What are your thoughts?

Isn't philosophical examination of one's life a waste of one's life? It isn't as if we ever get to the Truth by engaging in such philosophical question, and one might argue that such questions grounded on emotions may enslave the person in such nonsense thoughts without ever any problems solved.

Isn't an examined life not worth living, considering that existential thoughts actually depress, rather than uplift? It isn't as if if there were a God, we'd know for certainty either.

I am inclined to view the examined life a bit of a waste. Better to speedy up and reach actual external goals in life and live it up. What are some of your concerns about the actual negative impact the 'examined life' could have. My assumption is that as humans, we must and do inevitably ask philosophical questions (What is the meaning of life, why do I live, etc), there is no real answer, albeit some clarification.

What is more important is solving problems in life, isn't it?

I have heard stories of infidels who had frightning deathbeds, such as seeing fire, or demons around their bed waiting to take them to Hell. Also, some have regretted rejecting Jesus and felt hopeless. Why is it that real deathbed scenes aren't like this. My father rebuffed my efforts to proselytize during his life, yet died peacefully. Does this mean there is no Hell after all?

The way I see it, an Atheists disbelieves in all gods.

A religious person disbelieves in all gods bar one.

So aren't we all the same, atheists just going one god further?

I am a practicing Christian and my husband says that he is a Christian but does not practice it. It is getting very hard due to his choices in life. I pray everyday for God to break his heart and show him the way. At times he he does well, but he goes straight back to where he was.

Do you or would you find it hard? How do you or would you deal with it? Help!

Is it an unfair advantage if a person converted because they were part of a miracle or perhaps witnessed something so deeply moving that they would convert. Do you think it is unfair that when the rapture happens that all of the non believers will be witnessing a prophecy first hand, enough to convert them.

And then everyone that never had that special something move them towards Christianity is doomed to an eternity of Hell. You got to admit, you probably have heard of some fundamental non Christians that converted simply because the witnessed something.. Does God play favorites?

Ozzy Osbourne - Bark At The Moon

Screams break the silence
Waking from the dead of night
Vengence is boiling
He's returned to kill the light
Then when he's found who he's looking for
Listen in awe and you'll hear him

Bark at the moon
Ha ha ha ha ha...

Years spent in torment
Buried in a nameless grave
Now he has risen
Miracles would have to save
Those that the beast is looking for
Listen in awe and you'll hear him

Bark at the moon
Hey yeah, bark at the moon

They cursed and buried him along with shame
And thought his timeless soul had gone, gone
In empty burning hell - unholy one
But he's returned to prove them wrong (so wrong)
Ooh, yeah baby

Howling in shadows
Living in a lunar spell
He finds his heaven
Spewing from the mouth of hell
Those that the beast is looking for
Listen in awe and you'll hear him

Bark at the moon
Hey yeah, bark at the moon
Hey yeah, bark at the moon
Oh Oh yeah, bark at the moon

And once you are convicted, and receive Jesus as your saviour, is it normal for you to get all kinds of blasphemous thoughts about the holy spirit, and anger towards the spirit, and eventually blaspheming it?

And if the person committs this sin, how would they know?

And why is it unforgivable to say the holy spirit is from the devil?

It must be hard, well it is for me, because now that I know theres an unforgivable sin, I get all kinds of blasphemous thoughts towards the lord, and holy spirit, I once had it dwelling, but now my heart feels like its hard and dont really care anymore about salvation... and all I do is mock God now.

I don't know whats going on but the devil has me convinced that he is God, that he owns the holy spirit, etc...

Isnt this similar to the strong delusion at tribulation????????

Here is the correct answer to this one. Many Christian vs. Atheist arguments always go to proving that there is or isn't a God.

I have the proof that there is no God. That proof is simply for the fact that nobody can prove anything about God. How can you have an argument about something that you have no proof over? Until then the best answer to this one when a Christian tells you to prove that their is no God always answer with, "until you have the proof that there is a God then he doesn't exist."

Lets end this ridiculous argument now; no proof = no existence.
