there is only one way to heaven and that is Jesus Christ (John 14:6).And that is if you.
1.) Accept that you cannot save yourself to go to heaven but only thru the work of Jesus Christ on the cross (Romans 3:23;Romans 6:23)
2) Believe that only Jesus can save and no other name under heaven can a man be saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 4:12
3) Confess your sins to God have a 180 degrees turn around (1 John 1:9) and confess that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour.(Romans 10:9)
You are saved and automatically have an eternal life once you have received Jesus in your life and then you are already living your eternal life...even if you die any day...you will not fear death because you know where you are going because Jesus said so....Read your Bible and learn and understand what I mean...and the Lord will open up your eyes to the truth.

Jesus is the only way to get to heaven. Its by faith in him that your saved. You have to first believe and then recieve Him. You have to be reborn, die to self, meaning strip off your old sinful nature and
put on the clothes of just and righteouness and start to live your new life for the Lord each day. When your saved, your a new person so, your role model for living is our Savoir Jesus. We are to be Christ-like. yeah, we might accidently slip, but that is why Christians are to repent dayly and try there best to be like him. 1 Peter 1:16 He himself has said," YOU MUST BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY."
John 3:36 AND ALL WHO TRUST HIM - GOD'S SON - TO SAVE THEM HAVE ENTERNAL LIFE;
THOSE WHO DON'T BELIEVE AND OBEY HIM SHALL NEVER SEE HEAVEN, BUT THE WRATH OF GOD REMAINS UPON THEM."
Your to always do the Lord's will and way. when we follow only him( his way ) and not go our own way, the Lord will guide us and like it says in john 8:12, he'll flood our path with Living light so we won't stumble through the darkness. Reading the bible dayly helps you alot, The bible is a book that should be read over and over again. It's our map and guide for living a good godly lifestyle. Also,we are to never get attached to anything in this world. Like, so attached that its more important to you than the Lord our God. He is first! You can't serve God and money. there can't be both, He is always First.
2 Corinthians 3:16 BUT WHENEVER ANYONE TURNS TO THE LORD FROM HIS SINS , THEN THE VEIL IS TAKEN AWAY.
When that veil is gone, we are no longer spiritually blind. Our eye's and ear's are open and we can fully see the truth of the word. We are completely changed. I know it because i'm changed and no longer a mean, hateful & depressed person anymore. Now, i'm going to Church and feel free from sin. When you totally devoted to the Lord and always wanting to please him , he see's that. The Lord is always watching and knows our hearts ( secrets )and when we haven't forgiven someone, he'll show us ( through the Holy Spirit he has poured in us ) so we can forgive that person. you'll be doing somthing someday and that person that hurt you will pop up in your head and that's the time to forgive. When we forgive others, the Lord forgives us. Doing that will do the heart good.
Galatians 3:22 THE ONLY WAY OUT IS THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST, THE ESCAPE IS OPEN TO ALL WHO BELIEVE HIM.
1 John 2:6 ANYONE WHO SAYS HE IS A CHRISTIAN SHOULD LIVE AS CHRIST DID.
Jude 1:21 STAY ALWAYS WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES WHERE GOD'S LOVE CAN REACH AND BLESS YOU. WAIT PATIENTLY FOR THE ENTERNAL LIFE THAT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IN HIS MERCY IS GOING TO GIVE YOU.
Ephesians 2:9 SALVATION IS NOT A REWARD FOR THE GOOD WE HAVE DONE,SO NONE OF US CAN TAKE ANY CREDIT FOR IT.
Salvation is a GIFT!!!! it's whether or not the person will accept it. It's by FAITH that we recieve the GIFT OF SALVATION!
There is a guarantee that your saved!
( READ EPHESIANS CHAPTER ONE )
IT SAYS WHEN YOUR SEALED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE. AND THAT GAURANTEE'S THAT YOU WILL BE WITH THE LORD IN HEAVEN FOREVER!!!!

Accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Once you truly do this you will go to Heaven when life on earth is done. Of course you will want to follow his teachings, that just goes with being a follower of Christ.

Some people promote a very attractive idea: All true Christians, regardless of how they live, have an absolute assurance of salvation, once they accept Jesus into their hearts as "their personal Lord and Savior." The problem is that this belief is contrary to the Bible & constant Christian teaching.
Recall this Scripture: "If we have died with him [in baptism; see Rom. 6:3-4] we shall also live with him; if we persevere we shall also reign with him" (2 Tim. 2:11-12). So, ff we do NOT persevere, we shall NOT reign with him. In other words, Christians can forfeit heaven. Jesus tells us, "He who endures to the end will be saved" (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31-46). Ergo, if you do not endure to the end, well........
The Bible makes it clear that Christians have a moral assurance of salvation (God will be true to his word and will grant salvation to those who have faith in Christ and are obedient to him [1 John 3:19-24]), but the Bible does NOT teach that Christians have a guarantee of heaven. There can be no absolute assurance of salvation. The Bible says, "See, then, the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but God's kindness to you, provided you remain in his kindness, otherwise you too will be cut off" (Rom. 11:22-23; Matt. 18:21-35, 1 Cor. 15:1-2, 2 Pet. 2:20-21).
Note that this includes an important condition: "provided you remain in his kindness." It is saying that Christians can lose their salvation by throwing it away. He warns, "Whoever thinks he is standing secure should take care not to fall" (1 Cor. 10:11-12). , Paul admitted that even he could fall away: "I pummel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified" (1 Cor. 9:27). In saying this he points out that even he cannot be infallibly sure of his own present state or of his future salvation.
As a Catholic, when someone asks me if I have been "saved," I answer: "I am redeemed by the blood of Christ, I trust in him alone for my salvation, and, as the Bible teaches, I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), knowing that it is God's gift of grace that is working in me."

Jesus is the way. Do what He asks you to do, love your Lord with all your heart and love one another. When you believe Jesus saves you, He will. That is His promise. In the mean time try to do everything he way that you honor God.

Well JESUS ( the authority on such things I am told) said in Matthew (chapter 25):
Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick and imprisoned, give water to the thirsty. If you do these things you'll be in good shape.
Also, quit worrying about it. You love God and your neighbor, God loves you, that should just about cover things.

You need to take Christ as your savior believing he came as the only begotten son of God as a sacrifice for your sins. Read your Bible starting with the book of John. We are to walk as Christ did following his example.

Pray daily.
Read God's Word daily. Get grounded in his Word.
Fellowship. Find the place where God wants you to worship, not where you were raised or where you want to worship.
Let God lead you. Don't lead God. God, through his Holy Spirit, will lead you into all truth.
