I'm not even being sarcastic. I actually had that happen and I had to try really hard to keep a straight face which of course made me feel really bad. Just wondering if anyone else has had this.

Abraham was chosen to be a Great Prophet of the Creator of the Universe.

Abraham had two sons who were both to be blessed with a Holy Covenant at separate times.

The Holy Covenant are promises from The Lord of Abraham in return for taking on the responsibility to "Make Allah/God known to the World" and establishing the “laws of God” on the Earth.

Ishmael - first son - ISLAM
Issac - second son - JUDAISM & Christianity

JUDAISM is the covenant through Isaac.
ISLAM is the covenant through Ishmael.

The Romans and Greeks could never conquer or Hellenize the children of Ishmael.

Rabbi Frand points out additionally that the Ishmaelite are armed with a potent weapon, a supreme weapon --the power of prayer. After all, Ishmael is born as a result of the power of prayer. The angels tell Hagar (Genesis 16:11) --- "Hee'nach harah v'ya'ladet ben," behold you are going to bear a child, "Kee sha'ma Hashem et ahn'yaich," for G-d has heard the cry of your travail. In the wilderness of Paran (Arabia), Ishmael himself is saved by the power of prayer and granted a miraculous spring of water. Genesis 21:17, "Kee sha'ma Elokim et kol ha'na'ar," G-d heard the cries of the infant (Ishmael), the angel tells Hagar.

Muslims have a great love for prayer and they pray with zeal to the Lord of Abraham--five times a day. They are willing to march for thousands of miles to visit Mecca and Medina in order to show their commitment to their love of G-D in prayer and sacrifice.

The Hebrew verses in Genesis (which were revealed hundreds of years before the Quran) say that the Ishmaelite will be a “perah adam”… a WILD man, a free man.
Modern commentators now interpret the above as : They will constantly raise their hand against all other men who have authority. As if freedom is the only honor. They will forever be “men who kick like wild donkeys against those who come to shackle them”. They will be the most difficult people on earth to conquer and oppress, but the perfect people to entrust with a divine message.

The following is a quote from "Quest Study Bible," published by Zondervan, the same publisher who is in charge of publishing the NIV Bibles.

"Who wrote this book [Genesis] and when? Moses probably wrote this book around 1440 B.C. But since he was not an eye-witness to the creation, he relied on revelation from God and, perhaps, earlier oral or written records."

Do you still think people who question the validity of Creationism are overacting?

A cosmic explosion that occurred for no apparent reason, and formed from nowhere, all on its own, and somehow gave birth to organisms, is by definition, a miracle.

I answered a question recently about my belief in God. We always ask God for things, I just want to know if anyone ever asked the Devil. You know like "Satan please let me get this job." something like that

Would not the sheer high temperatures of the energy displacement incinerate all organic type matter before it could even get started?

How could organic matter even begin let alone be transported through space without food or an atmosphere if meteors seeded the Earh as one such hypothesis suggest?

I ask many questions on r/s. Most of them are just silly, and, I really hope that people look at them and smile. I don't care if anyone answers them, I ask them because either they amuse me, or I want to share with my friends fragments of my insanity. Most are irreverant, some are just puns, some are jagged pieces of glass left over from a christian upbringing. But, every now and then, about every other day, I ask a question that really means something. I understand that it won't mean anything to some, and to others, maybe it means too much. But, if you read one of my questions, and it is 1000 characters long, then that means something to me. And I have noticed that some of you get the meaning of my search for love and beauty, and you acknowledge that at least I try to communicate with something deep inside myself, and maybe yourself as well. But, those questions are painful for me to ask, and I can't do it every day for your amusement, I beg many pardons, so is 2% of the time enough?

If they were given the chance, what would they say?

Alternative possibility for an atheist: you wake up with your soul. Snap, floor cracks opens and you end up in some lava 10000 feet below.

do people claim it to be a fact?

Sure evolution in the sense of mixing DNA to make different varients of the same species is true, not getting into that argument, but when Evolution is used as a means to describe the origin of life, it has a gaping flaw.

Evolution does not account for the creation of the Solar System, much less the universe, nor does it explain how single celled organisms suddenly sprang to life. I will admit it is a more logic explaination than Creationism, which really doesn't have any proof to back it up, but Evolution cannot be used as a means to explain the orgin of life.

Is there something that you can show me to discredit my opinion on this?

In AA meetings, they have to follow the 12 steps. I was just reading them, and about 9 out the 12 are about accepting God and allowing God to lead you to sobriety. Out of curiosity, are Atheists welcome to AA meetings? How do they go about the 12 steps? I'm not an alcoholic, so please don't assume anything. This is just a random question that popped into my head.

Be given your own Christian section on Y!A and let everyone else keep Religion and Spirituality, or stay in R&S and give atheists their own section?

Non-Christian believers (Jews, Buddhists, Pagans, Muslims) will remain in R&S regardless of your choice.

"And the Lord said onto me, they have well spoken that which they have spoken, I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." (Deuteronomy 18:17-18)

So Christians, is Jesus the Prophet that GOD promised in this verse of the Bible, or is Muhammed the Promised Prophet ?

If you answer Yes to the first question then you would have to admit that Jesus IS a Prophet of God and not the SON of God as Christians claim. So which one is it,

Is Jesus the Promised Prophet or is he not ?

Negative energy being angry, mean, or just not giving as God wants us too. It all starts with a thought. All thoughts should be positive, we should be happy and loving, nobody should feel superior to anyone else. We are all ONE, DIS EASE happens when we get negative. Just trying being positive for one whole day and see how it feels.
God Bless
