No, it is not ok. Either we are fully GOds or we arent HIs at all. God tells us IF YOU LOVE ME< OBEY ME. That doesnt mean to obey what we are comfortable with. It means obey Him, period, all of it.
YOu cant give loyalty to someone and not give it all.
Half way allegiance is no allegience at all.
As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord all the way, every day, from now on. Absolutely yes yes yes.
and we count it all joy to do so.
God bless you and your family. May He bless you to overfulow. Jesus is coming soon. WE have much to celebrate this SUnday morning, again, huh?

My teacher once said this to me!
"Believe in God, don't pretend to believe in God, its the pretending that gets man into so much difficulty."
If you give less then 100% of your time and energy to an employer, and the employer realizes this, one of two things might happen:
1. The employer will reduce your pay because of low production, or lack thereof.
2. Dismiss you from the job, or possibly reduce your hours.
Think about this, for this carries over into ones spiritual life.
This 25% > 100% can be approached gradually in the spiritual life. If one really thinks about this, anything less than 100% is pretending, or sometimes it is called being lukewarm!
The best to you on this sojourn called life!
"Peace be always with you."

I don't believe that a faithful Christian is CAPABLE of giving less than 100%.
Does God "want all of it"? God has given us the gift of free will. As a loving and merciful parent, He lets us make all the mistakes we're capable of...all the while waiting for us to come back to Him for comfort.
It really IS that simple!
God bless and comfort you.

No "fence sitting". Either you are with Him or you aren't.
Nope - it's not OK to give God just part of your allegiance

- i personally believe that it's an all or nothing kind of situation too
- i really dislike people who read the text yet on follow what they like from it. those are the first ones to try and condemn someone else to hell. even though they only follow the portion of what GOD said that suits their fancy.

you can pick and choose how you live and what matters most to you.
Some choose hell out of their own arrogance and self worth. that's OK. God said it is your choice. So let them choose as they will. My obligations is met by offering them the word.
