Deut. 21:15 If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:

Deut. 21:16 Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn:

Deut. 21:17 But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a DOUBLE portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.

i have been told several times that we will all die in 2012 because it has been written in the coded bible that another meteor will hit earth, just like the one that killed the dinosuars.
and scientist beleive that there is another world just like ours, except its a little bigger, at least thats what they told us, and that there is life there as well as there is here. But this "other world" is in another galexy.
They also say that compared to the other galexys, ours might be microscopic. Like our galexy doesnt have many planets, but other galexys might have tons of planets! could this all be true? and what about the srange legends from the bible that are said to be true, like the ouja board being evil and other things like that. Are they true or are they all just myths?

Are not the elements that caused the current expansion still in existance? Why have they not exploded again and recreated the universe?

Don't these random events supposedly gather energy and releases it in the form of a cosmic explosion with no sentient manipulation?

I mean why put themselves through the torture of trying to obstain? Why not marry? Now there are some people who are dedicated enough to obstain but come on! Let's get real! I think they're setting themselves up for failure. I couldn't do it! I'm not married and I don't have a girlfriend yet and trust me it's not easy for me! I don't plan on being a Priest and yes I do plan on getting married some day! I'm trying to wait until marriage. I'm not sure how much longer I can wait! ( o _ 0 ) Your thoughts?

I am pagan. and I know that they will tell me I am going to hell, but I really don't care. I just want to know why they assume that all people who pity them are atheists.

Far too many "Christians" joyfully inform people outside their particular brand of dogma that they are going to hell. Odd that these same people cannot tell which members of their own families will or will not go to heaven. Why so judgemental? Why so hypocritical about it? Perhaps some of the good folks from the Christian community can teach these hypocrites the error of their ways, though I doubt they'd listen. I feel for the faithful members of the religious community who have to be associated with these self-righteous bigots. If a hell really existed, it would end up full to the brim with these people. Your opinions?

Is it good ole fashioned luck that our solar system has yet to be side swiped? Or did someone engineer it all?

“As surely as my new heavens and earth will remain,so will you always be my people, with a name that will never disappear,”

dont they want to visit different places, meeting different people? dont they need to experience new things?
how can a life be so empty, be such a waste that only believing in a higher entity (that may or may not exist) can give a purpose to it?

How can you convince somebody that God isn't real?

My friend told me that she convinced somebody's mother that God wasn't real and she felt bad afterwards because she felt like she had taken something away from her.

What reasons do you think she gave her, and what kind of argument do you bet she put up?

Is it all based on logic or other things too? What reasons could you give a person like that to change what they believe in such an effective way like this? What proof is there, if any?

I am not asking why YOU think God IS real. I just want to know exactly what I asked.

Thank you ahead of time, if you answer! ^_^

Just because it's not in the constituion word for word doesn't mean it's not law folks.
Engle v Vitale - 1962 - Seperation of Church and State

In the late 1950's the New York State Board of Regents wrote and adopted a prayer which was supposed to be nondenominational. The board recommended that the prayer be said by students in public schools on a voluntary basis every morning. In New Hyde Park Long Island a parent sued the school claiming that the prayer violated the first amendment of the constitution. The school argued that the prayer was nondenominational and did not attempt to "establish or endorse" a religion and thus that it did not violate the establishment clause.

The court ruled against the school district and upheld the establishment clause of the first amendment. Prayer in schools was to be considered unconstitutional.

Well then, you don't know one ... single ... thing about what god, gods or forces might operate beyond this life, do you. So, the only honest and non BS thing for you to say about religion is "I ... DON'T ... KNOW."
Let me say it again. If you have not been dead and come back, you know NOTHING. To say anything else is a LIE. YOU are a LIAR. That goes for all of you: Wiccans, Christians, Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Indigenous, etc.
