Well then, you don't know one ... single ... thing about what god, gods or forces might operate beyond this life, do you. So, the only honest and non BS thing for you to say about religion is "I ... DON'T ... KNOW."
Let me say it again. If you have not been dead and come back, you know NOTHING. To say anything else is a LIE. YOU are a LIAR. That goes for all of you: Wiccans, Christians, Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Indigenous, etc.

Jesus Christ was dead, but not any more:

"When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man And He placed His right hand on me, saying, "Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last,

and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. "

Revelation 1:17-18

You might want to listen to Him.

I have never been dead, but it appears a good likelihood that I will be one day.
As such I earnestly want to know what comes next.
I believe Jesus Christ raised the dead to life, one after being dead four days, and was Himself raised from the dead after 3 days. His disciples were so convinced of this many of them died as martyrs in defense of this truth.
Beyond all that, I know one day when I least expected it, God intervened in my life and brought a profound change into my heart that I didn't even know was possible. Ever since that day I have never doubted that Jesus really was alive, and that He is the Son of God.

wefmeister: They have theorized what causes these "spiritual" hallucinations that come with near death experiences, and it's just lack of oxygen to the brain or stress. "The ´Out of the Body Experience´ is an attempt by the brain to create a mental overview of the situation and the surrounding world."
And that article was COMPLETE religious propaganda The "EVIL ATHEIST" now pleasant because he found Christ. What a load of BS! I was forgetting why I had little tolerance for A**hole Christians - thanks for reminding me!

Not so. I've never rebuilt an engine nor had one seize, yet I know the outcome of driving without oil.

It is possible to learn from the experiences of others based on their credibility.
