I used to get turned on by it when I was younger, but that was because I was molested by my cousin for 10 years. So I thought it was normal.
It's not.

I don't suppose we're meant to lay with our family, on account of it brings deformation to the offspring.
This is why there are so many cultural taboos against it. I imagine that if you were seperated from the family member in question from birth, and were thrown together later in life, that there might be a strong attraction. In a case such as this I believe it's not so much of a moral issue as a scientifically ethical one...is the distance far enough to ensure probable
genetic efficiency?

Not only is incest emotionally scarring, there are also evolutionary reasons for not engaging in it.
The further away you are from someone genetically, the more likely you both will produce stronger offspring with less genetic weaknesses.

The rule is 1/8 if you're related by less than 1/8 it's ok. Cousin is too close. Second cousin is ok.

I find it icky. But if you are talking about two adults and not pedophiles, then I don't really care what other people do...I still think it's icky.

I'm against it because it causes bad scars and pain and affects people for the rest of their life.
