i met a woman nine months ago that i have fallen deeply in love with, we have had a few bumps in the road but r still together however some of my christian friends don't want me with her cuz she is a non believer, but i believe that i can change that as she did believe at one time but lost her faith and belief in God during Katrina. Im going to stay with her but what would u tell ur friends that think u should be with someone of equal faith?

Throwing a hammer on the floor may be a sin to Thor, but if you don't believe in Thor what is the difference? What you call sin, is only so in your belief system. There are better, non-religious, terms for what is socially or morally unacceptable. He who is without sin, shall cast the first stone and the local atheist knocks em all in the head. Religious people have sin, non-religious have faults. The blind cannot see, but truly pitiful are those who will not see. Try to make any answers at least somewhat sensible please.

I know this sounds dumb, but a few weeks ago, my bf broke up with me and i literally felt like my world was falling apart,i didnt stop crying for 2 days, at one point i said aloud "please,ill sell my soul just to have him back" and the next day, he called me and we are back together. Now, whenever i pray and ask forgiveness and such, im trying to be a better christian, i just dont feel it like i used to,like my heart isnt here. I want so badly to know god but it just feels like there isnt a bridge anymore.
Could I have actually sold my soul?

what can I do? I know catholics you are not very open minded too, since I am in university.. I live in mx.. my classmates are protestants.. one of my classmates with who I have more communication thinks.. the gay people are evil spirits.. the evil put on them.. as catholic I dont believe in that!!,, and I am againts them because they always critize the catholic church.. mexico used to be very catholic, now the protestantism is growing speciall in my state... a lot of new churches are building everyday new protestant groups

John 1:1 - The JW's say that Jesus is "a" god.
If Jesus is "a" god, then isn't that polytheism?
If Jesus is "a" god, then how many gods are there in JW theology?
If Jesus is "a" god, then is he a true God or false god, since the Bible says there is only one God (Isaiah 43:10; 44:6,8)?

I understand that in the old testament..the stories and poems were repeated thousands of times so they woudl remember..but when i hear the new testament i cant help but wonder how they remembered everything Jesus said..is there anywhere in the bible that speaks of this?

i emailed him and asked him a question about when something was. and then he emailed back and asked how I was doing. and so I told him that I really wasn't doing all that great. so he was asking me what was going on and I told him that I was just really stressed out. and so we've been talking about that.

The thing is, he and my parents are very close. I don't want my parents to know that I'm stressed out cause they have enough to worry about as it is. Do you think I can trust my youth pastor not to discuss me being stressed out with my parents. even if he's just having a casual conversation with them and it comes up?
