well
I know this sounds dumb, but a few weeks ago, my bf broke up with me and i literally felt like my world was falling apart,i didnt stop crying for 2 days, at one point i said aloud "please, ill sell my soul just to have him back" and the next day, he called me and we are back together. Now, whenever i pray and ask forgiveness and such, im trying to be a better christian, i just dont feel it like i used to,like my heart isnt here. I want so badly to know god but it just feels like there isnt a bridge anymore.
Could I have actually sold my soul?

God understands our sorrow and our heartbreak. He understands that we are far from perfect and will make mistakes and say all sorts of things we don't mean. The only way you could have "sold" your soul is if you turned your back on God, forsook all the commands He has given us and pledged allegiance to the devil. It doesn's sound to me like that's what happened. It sounds like you were grief-stricken and desperate and said something rash. I have done similar things in similar moments. It took me a while to re-establish my link with God and to really "feel" like He was there again, but He IS there, He's always there. All I can advise you to do is to keep praying, keep believing and know that you are forgiven. If you have a pastor, talk to him/her, it really does help. Just don't give up, sweetie, God is there, and I pray the He will bless you.

The sold soul, & i'll tell you why A stolen identity can either be fairly good or bad A stripped memory that may have contained a worse past & hoping for a better future A sold soul means that a person that don't appreciate life & doesn't even appreciate being alive, how more can someone lose himself by adapting the persona of a devil.

This isn't a dumb question. Not even!!! I'm so sorry this has happened to you. I really hope this boyfriend is worth it. How young are you. Really be careful, because a lot of times your together for a couple of years and each of you go your separate ways. Listen to your mom and dad. Listen to your heart. The Lord is there for you. Stop believing this happened to you. Don't ever say it again. Good and evil are so real. I think maybe The Lord might be asking you is this guy really worth it. Your a young lady we all change. We all make mistakes. Thank God you didn't do something really stupid because of a guy. Hang in there. Your fine. Stop thinking about it now.

No !!! why ? Because YOU are the soul [living being] - you do not have an "immortal soul" to sell in the first place. Did you not know, that ONLY Jesus is immortal ??? ( see: Book of First Timothy, chapter 6, verse 16 - only Christ is immortal .) The immortality of the soul heresy, goes back to the Garden of Eden when Satan told Eve, that she wouldn't die if she ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God told Adam & Eve that they would "surely die". SATAN lied of course, to entice mother Eve to sin. The Egyptians promoted the "immortal soul" false doctrine in its religion to serve as a control over the people. The Egyptian priests told the people that if they didn't do as they were told, they (their soul), would go to the underworld when they died. This fear religion was adopted by Soter Ptolomy II of Greece when he ruled over the conquered Egyptians and was used by him. With the Hellenistic [Greek] influence, along with the Roman gods, entered the Christian age (First Century church) this crept into the church about "hell" and the "immortal soul" . So; don't worry, you did not sell your soul to the devil because you do not have an immortal soul !

There's nothing that you can do that God wont forgive if you just ask Him. If you still feel condemned after talking with God about it, just know that condemnation doesn't come from God, but Satan. God gives conviction; that is what helps us get motivated to do whatever we know He wants us to do in a specific situation. Condemnation makes a person feel helpless and like nothing can change the situation.
Remember; nothing you can do can make God love you more OR less than he always has. Unconditional love is awesome; especially since none of us is perfect. If we were perfect, why would Jesus have had to die in the first place??
God loves you more than you can comprehend. The fact that you're concerned about the state of your soul is very positive.
I just prayed for you; that you would be able to settle this, and go to sleep tonight in total peace.
Talk with God.
He's up all night anyway.
Love,
Your sister in Christ

Some people believe that you are never born with a soul.. you must earn one.. Through though and prayer.. Selling your soul is impossible.. It is unintangible and cannot be sold for anything.. It stands for everything fine and good inside of people.. essentially selling your soul is giving up those morals.

It is possible you may have. You poured out your faith and love in one request, and you are drained when you receive it. Be celibate, as in no sex before marriage. Fast, as in do not eat for say one full day, including water. Pray, as in continually. There are some spiritual answers that must be sought in this manner in order for the answer to be revealed to you.
Read the gospel of John Chapter 3.
God Be With You.

No. Misery is like anger: a form of madness. Such temporary insanity would invalidate any kind of contract, even with the supernatural. Stop worrying.

I guess you sold your soul to GOD, and can now relax. OK. Your possibly still emotional stressed by the current events of your life, and need more calm days ahead to refocus on GOD better. Again start to relax, and reconnect with your boyfriend.
Peace, GOD has your soul.

I highly doubt it. and if so who did you sell it too? The Bible doesn't really say anything about "selling your soul" and if you gave your soul to Jesus then it is there to stay. Remember the verse where Jesus says that no one will pluck us out of his hand. Maybe God was answering your plea. What you need to do is pray and get into the word. Sometimes we drift away from God and wonder where He is , but it says in James. "draw near to me and I will draw near to you." We have to take the initiative and make sure that we are living according to his will. so do some praying and make sure that this guy is right for you. But no you didn't sell your soul. It isn't yours anymore to sell, for if you know Christ it belongs to Him.
