It is not the religion, rather the intensity of your belief that produces the emotional reaction.

I have seen many from different religions in the throes of religious ecstasy...
ex. Sufi Muslim dervishes
Christian ppl who cry and sing with their arms in the air (sorry not sure of the name)
Buddhists have 8 trance states, but I don't think they are intense...more of a slow burning long term thing
Hindus have something called Samadhi (check it out here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samadhi).

Sufi dervishes are not so common nowadays and Buddhist people in trance states are rarely seen as well. I think Hinduism has the most followers who have experienced that crazy religious ecstasy feeling.

the born again christians. they are targeting the heart of those who want to worship the true God.Instead of teaching their followers the truth about God they inculcate to them that they will be saved upon believing that Jesus is Lord ,and that Jesus saves alone. Well the heart is a great deceiver. It can capture everything in a man unless he knows the works of it. Look at how they preach in television. Look at how they target the emotions of the listeners. Most of them are not giving much emphasis on the words of God. only in their own interpretation. Most of them are Toast Master Generals! Well Paid Speakers!!!!!!

Probably the old Nordic religions. In their heaven, they get to go to a battlefield and continuously kill each other throughout eternity. Long live Odin!

There are some forms of paganism that believe in absolute clarity after sex. A sexual practice is sometimes used, in groups it leads to multiple orgies.

Peter writes this to believers in Jesus Christ;

"and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, "

I for one, know experientially what he means.
