If God really had omniscience, he should have been able to predict what happened with Satan. And can a perfect God have any regrets?

God is perfect. Satan was a son who fell from his grace. If you were Satan's father would you regret Satan's choices and regret creating him? Probably. But I think God is more of a perfect Father and has seen more of his created sons and daughters fall from grace than anyone in all the universes of universes. Ours is one tiny little blue planet in all the cosmos... and so Satan is just a tiny drop in the bucket of created beings ... regrets? I don't really know, but I'd be willing to bet God wants Satan to turn his life around the same way God would want any of his to do so.

God always has a purpose.
He knew that Lucifer (Satan) would fall.
He knew that all this would happen before it did.
And if He didn't want it to happen, He wouldn't have let it happen.
He had the power to stop it, but He chose not to.
Everyone, including Satan, has their own free-will, and he chose to fall.
We still have our own free-wills, God isn't going to make us do what we don't want to do.
He'll find someone else who will do it.
So if we decide to do good, we chose it.
If we decide to do bad, we chose it.
Satan is just a tempter, and we are the ones to be tempted.
Will we fall, or will we stand, and put our all in God.
that's basically what Satan's purpose is.
and God doesn't regret it.
As long as we stay strong in the Father, it's all good.

I think that if God did everything for a reason, that would include creating Satan. A supreme being with all-power and knowledge wouldn't have regrets. Doi.

What we Do Know is That His Going To Take Care of this " Problem " Once and for All.
Satan himself and his demons, will be cast into the symbolic lake of fire. (Revelation 20:7-10 Rather than being merely abyssed, this time Satan, the original serpent, will actually be crushed out of existence, pulverized, completely annihilated as if by fire.

Well the Bible says that God knows us before we are ever born. In fact, it is full of prophecies of people who will be born and will do certain specific things. Therefore if one were to believe in Satan at all, then you would have to realize that as a creation of God, his tendancies and actions were well known before he ever came into existance. So how could God regret making Satan if he knew before he ever made him that he would be trouble.

no, because when he created him, he knew what lucifer would do before hand, as with all of the other fallen angels, as with all mankind. don't forget god is all knowing. but for a time god did love "the covering cherub".....until "iniquity was found in him." then he fell from his position.
lucifer has a position and a purpose in god's good will for his creation, even if he (lucifer) denies it. all creations are the tools and objects for the establishment of god's own good will and restoration, and those that struggle against it find themselves more the instrument for it. even lucifer.
regret implies a mistake. god is sovereign and infallible and cannot regret nor mistake. he can lament and be sad, but those feelings are the results of the wills of other, lesser creations of his.

There has to be opposition in all things. With out sickness, you would never know health, with out night, you wouldn't appreciate day. We all are responsible for our own actions. We need to be able to chose right from wrong, and learn and grow from our mistakes. We wouldn't be able to grow if all there was is good in the world. I think this is part of God's plan for us. I think God feels very sad about Satan's choices, though.

I think most of God's robes are made out of Satan. It IS a beautiful fabric. Seriously. the only satan that exists is in the minds of wild-eyed fanatics. All the 'devilish' hell you see on Earth is instigated by ourselves and Mother Nature. Just look at the latest creation we've jointly devised and are still perfecting: climate from hell.

Nah, of course not. Satan must be a great friend. Look at god's bet with Satan in the Book of Job. They even commit murder together! Not to mention that the same biblical god sends so many humans to meet his pal for eternal torture.
