You should have said"i dont think you should,i think there is a policy against that,but i physically cant stop you and there are cameras here that will record it"
I dont think you want this worker as a friend or any where close to you,you dont know who he will take from.
Im surprised he got past the job interview.

If you said that, you are agreeing to what he did and probably you can do the same yourself. I don't think it is morally OK. If you're asking here is because it is bothering you. I would stick to what makes me feel good.
I suggest you talk to your friend and say something like "hey, I was thinking about what you did the other day and I want you to know I don't think it is right." You don't have to change his mind, just speak up yours. You will be honest with yourself and that's what matters.

No.
Sin is a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God.
In other words, sin is anything that hurts your relationship with God.
Sin is a personal act. Moreover, we have a responsibility for the sins committed by others when we cooperate in them:
- by participating directly and voluntarily in them;
- by ordering, advising, praising, or approving them;
- by not disclosing or not hindering them when we have an obligation to do so;
- by protecting evil-doers.

All that is needed for evil to prosper is for good men to stay silent.
You're either a part of the problem or a part of the solution.

That is stealing. Taking something that does not belong to you. And you as a witness are an accomplice

Saying "I didn't see you" doesn't make it so.
If you saw him, you saw him. If you feel it's wrong, then it's wrong. You shouldn't let fairy tales and books tell you how to live your life - you have all knowledge of right and wrong inside of you...it's up to you to choose which instinct to follow.
