This is the story of John Bradford.

The old saying "there but for the grace of God go I" was coined by John Bradford. While passing a group of criminals on the scaffold about to be hung while living in 17th century England John uttered this famous phrase.

3 years later Mr. Bradford was burned at the stake for charges of heresy.

Muahahahahaha

I'm serious here. From my experience it's like after an Angel enters my life, it seems like whenever their lessons and mission is over, they always disapear and I never see them again. The first time that I realized it happen to me was fifteen years ago and that relationship plays a vital role with my current endeavors today. Got a story like that? Please no smart illects.

This verse always bothered me

Mark 10:15

"I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

Children believe in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny... children believe whatever you tell them, hence the continual indoctrination that takes places in countries with Islam, or Hinduism as the main religions...

How does it make sense to believe things without questioning, or to believe things without gauging it against previous experience or knowledge?

I know, I know. I said I had to stop coming in here, but I just couldn't help myself.

Christians. For a couple of years now, I've been coming in here saying that I believe that the Bible is everything it claims to be, but the average Christian misenterprets it to the point of uselessness. Although I have reason to believe that many of you that were there since the beginning of my investigation may have taken much of what I said to heart, I still believe that there may be many of you that remain un-convinced.

Well, here we go again..... Do you believe that the world was built in six days? That is, of course six Human, Earth days.

Directly from the KJV:
I Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee: But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:
II For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice; And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
III Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.
IV The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.

I mean the rejection of reason, the rejection of the sequitur, of cause and effect, of two plus two, of realism for which reason is a synonym after all.

Even areas such as in upstate New York where hundreds of thousands of men in large armies armed to the hilt supposedly fought massive battles have not yielded even "one" sword, or anything. How is that posible?

Do you understnad what INTUITION is???

Intuition Deja-vu is not explained and if you say it is you are fibbing and delusional.

Maybe people who dismiss GOD really do a dis-service to themselves, because they have no idea how to use their brain the way GOD designed, they only know from MAN controlling them...Ever thought of that?
Even people who are very familiar with intuitive experiences find intuition and how it operates hard to describe. One helpful way to understand intuition is as direct knowing or an inner knowing without thinking it through.
intuition is a normal human experience and is reported in cultures throughout the world...
group of neuroscientists at the University of California at San Diego has identified a region of the human brain that appears to be linked to thoughts of spiritual matters and prayer. Their findings tentatively suggest that we as a species are genetically programmed to believe in God.
Because GOD made us...Master Scientist ...Thoughts?

Not through a baby's smile, not a complex organ, not a 2,000-year-old book, not a really warm feeling. But without mediation, just God.

Every day on campus here, there's a religious group that comes and screams at everyone that they're all going to hell. Any gay couple that walks by gets "*******!, dykes!, etc you'll burn hottest!" shouted at them. The(one of many) ironic thing is, they're mostly black(african american if you will). I would think they would know what it is to be discriminated against and have at least some sympathy. Why would they discriminate themselves?

Just curious. It always seems like those who get possessed or have "demonic" experiences in their homes are of one religion or another. Are there Agnostic or Atheist possessions on record? Do the various churches recognize these experiences if the individuals affected are not of their beliefs?
