As a Christian by Baptism and vocation, and as a Libertarian by registration...I'd rather vote for a gay atheist pre-op transsexual exotic dancer than I would for Mitt Romney.

I have no issue with gay or atheist but neither of those character traits necessarily make for a good or bad president. Mitt Romney is a politician and a Republican, and your typical weather vane that goes which way the wind blows, as do most politicians. He is arguably a competent businesman and will certainly do a better job than Bush, although that doesn't narrow the field much. To answer your question, I would rather vote for a Democrat gay atheist than Mitt Romney.

I am really disgusted that people are saying they don't know who Mitt Romney is.... I hope they don't live in this counrtry.
I would vote for the homeless guy that lives on the bench by the grocery store I shop at before I would vote for MR.

well christians shouldnt be voting in the first place! Daniel 2:44 says ''And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite''''

I rely on god to establish his kingdom here on earth. People obviously cant rule cause if they did, we wouldnt need a new ruler every other year, would we?

Most likely I'd vote for the Gay Atheist, but it depends what their points are.

Depends on which one I felt would make the better president.

My problem with Mitt Romney is his hypocrisy. He attacked Obama over believing that sex education should be taught to kindergartners, when he allowed the same thing in his state, and said that he approved of the legislation.

Whether I agree with a president or not, it'd be better to know where they stand.

I'm just shocked that there are actually people posting responses here that they don't know who Mitt Romney is. Jesus H. Christmas, the guy is a major Presidential candidate right now, and is in the news almost every day. You'd have to live under a rock not to have heard of him.

This should be downright interesting!

I'd vote for whoever can:

Mend foreign policy screw ups and bring our troops home

Fix the immigration problem

Fix our tax system and stop giving filthy rich people more tax breaks and cutting into the middle class

Improve our education system

Stop letting big business getting away with murder!

Put some SERIOUS environmental policy in place

Recognize the war on terror is not a traditional war fought on a literal battlefield, but an ideological one and start treating it as such.

Stay out of the business of women's wombs and completely remove ALL government interference in it either FOR or AGAINST. It is none of their business and never should have been.

Make college or tertiary training accessible for working class teens so they are not forced to join the military just to get a further education.

Stop shipping jobs abroad

Toughen up our trade relations with China

As you can see, my issues have NOTHING to do with petty things like sexual orientation or religion. I just want someone who can get the job done.
