Do you understnad what INTUITION is???

Intuition Deja-vu is not explained and if you say it is you are fibbing and delusional.

Maybe people who dismiss GOD really do a dis-service to themselves, because they have no idea how to use their brain the way GOD designed, they only know from MAN controlling them...Ever thought of that?
Even people who are very familiar with intuitive experiences find intuition and how it operates hard to describe. One helpful way to understand intuition is as direct knowing or an inner knowing without thinking it through.
intuition is a normal human experience and is reported in cultures throughout the world...
group of neuroscientists at the University of California at San Diego has identified a region of the human brain that appears to be linked to thoughts of spiritual matters and prayer. Their findings tentatively suggest that we as a species are genetically programmed to believe in God.
Because GOD made us...Master Scientist ...Thoughts?

You chose a scientific aproach to this question, and thats exactly what your going to get - in a "acceptance" context.

Intuition is our minds eye (called the 3rd eye) seeing briefly into the future, whether consciously or unconsciously.
Its also the "gut" feelings we get when we meet someone new, face a situation, etc. It is part of our survival mechanism.

I believe that not because others talk about it, but because its been going on since I was a child.

Ultimately - a higher power exists - and the best way to get to the truth is always the hard way. Don't listen to 1 person or 1 group - study all philosophies to the point we understand them - paving the way to make a well informed decision.

If somebody believes in 1 type of God, I have no rights to condemn or put them down - because their decision is made, and at the end of the day - we can't fight over unprovable decisions made on "strong feelings" or intuition.

For us to say a "buddist$'s" intuition is inferior to our "Christ" intuition is hypcritical.
Acceptance is ultimately the building block towards peace.

Thoughts Spiritual matter and prayer - is nothing more than thought processes and they have discovered a place in the brain where thoughts are actually processed. Fascinating. If you would actually read Carl Jung you will understand much more about intuition than you have spewed out here. i have used -intuition - on many occasions and it was not a voice directing me. But to you since it actually happened then is was the voice of god. But then you seem to think you are sitting at the right hand of god and can know what is in the hearst of man. Your -voice from god - could be nothing different that what Son of Sam experienced only you haven´t picked up a knife yet.

"...they only know from MAN controlling them...Ever thought of that?"
Can't says I have. Forgetting that this doesn't make any sense, do you care to share how God intended for us to use our brains? Should we use nothing but our intuition? In which case we would never have been organized enough to form an agrarian society, to make any advances in science and medicine, etc. Should we just float through life, being pulled in whichever direction the wind blows?

"...we as a species are genetically programmed to believe in God."
Since I can't find the study you're talking about, I can only assume it's one of the many which argue that the brain is prone to give supernatural explanations for things we don't understand, just as a means of dealing with a perplexing world. Not one scientist would proffer this as proof of the existence of God.

There is just no reason why intuition and deja vu (not the same thing) should be lumped in with religious belief or suggested as a guide to living life. I'm sorry, but this whole intuition movement stuff really irks me. People use it to justify their prejudices and preexisting religious beliefs, and to make them feel less bad about their child-like understanding of the world.

There is a gene that has been tied to religious belief. It is very controversial research, but there are papers on it. If you don't have the gene you are significantly more likely to not be religious.

Now that said, intuition is mostly just you sub-consciously picking up clues. In properly controlled experiments that eliminate the possibility of clues none of it works.

And I am sure that a part of your brain is routinely used when you are in a prayerful mood. It is probably the same as when you meditate or any similar things. Humans have a very active imagination which is what has given us the ability to outlast the Neanderthals and that come from some part of the brain.

I think many of your questions are really out there.

One thing you're missing is that nobody is saying things like luck, ambition, intuition, various other things that can be seen but can't be measured aren't automatically lumped into the "god" category. Nor do they prove it. I personally feel that such things are driven by something, and whether it's something we'll be able to understand down the road or not is debatable.

You have to think beyond the whole "if it isn't explainable, it's god" mentality.

The belief in God could easily be a result of consciousness and mandatory arrogance to get us through the same lull that nearly ended our species-its illogical to assume the only result was a lack mating seasons.

By the way, either you left out lots of info, or that was the most inconclusive thing Ive ever seen come from a scientist.

There's a middle ground here between absolute blind belief and outright dismissal. If there's evidence to indicate something unexplainable exists, then it's foolish to simply deny it because you can't explain it. And it's equally foolish to assign it an explanation that has no basis in fact.
But any way you cut it, there logically has to be some sort of intellectual entry point. Some kind of evidence that makes an idea worth considering in the first place. And that's why this argument has no relevance to the "God" question. There is simply no credible evidence to support the existence of god.

Yes, I know what intuition is.

My intuition tells me you're not going to read any of these responses. My intuition tells me you have no interest in learning anything. My intuition tells me you've been driven insane by your religion and you have no interest in reality, just belittling anyone not in your cult.

But then, intuition is often wrong. Not a good foundation to base your entire life on.

well what about those that haven't felt such "intuition"? are we just blind to god because we refuse to accept him into our hearts? because that doesn't make sense. i went to church my entire childhood and was a believer until around freshman year in high school. what does that mean? i slowly closed my mind? that's ridiculous, because i think you are the one with the closed mind, so who is right? must be a DEAD ARGUMENT. stop trying to prove yourself right. i will probably never again believe in what is said by the christian church. i think it is wrong. stop arguing the point. if it hasnt been able to have been proven throughout all of history, by god himself who had disbelievers just like all religions since their beginning, then you sure as hell aren't going to find an answer now. it is a moot point, DROP IT.

No one uses all of there brain most of the worlds population only uses 10 percent of there brain. Just becuase sum people dismiss god doesnt mean they dimiss verything else because sum things have a chance of being proven like ghost and aliens. the only way you can prove to sum one that god really exist is if he were to come to you in person other wise he has no chance of being proven. They know of man controlling them because man does controll us you cant walk down the street and kill sumbody and get away with it. so man controlls you you have no choice ever think of that.
