Would jesus approve?

Question

Every day on campus here, there's a religious group that comes and screams at everyone that they're all going to hell. Any gay couple that walks by gets "*******!, dykes!, etc you'll burn hottest!" shouted at them. The(one of many) ironic thing is, they're mostly black(african american if you will). I would think they would know what it is to be discriminated against and have at least some sympathy. Why would they discriminate themselves?

So basically we're all equally capable of being stupid.

NO ONE here on Earth has the authority to tell another person they are going to hell - only God can make that judgement.
To me, that is not appropriate behavior for Christians to engage in.

Ignorance runs high in all races and religions, as you well know. So, the real irony is that they label themselves a particular religion, supposedly spreading the "word," not the fact they're Black. No, Jesus wouldn't approve any such behavior towards anyone, despite what religion or race they represent. Have a blessed day, friend!

Jesus would never approve of this discrimination. Jesus came to "seek and save those who are lost". Jesus does not hate gays, but he DOES HATE homosexuality. For example I hate lying, but I don't hate my friend he/she lies. Jesus wants the homosexual to change, not burn in hell. But homosexuality is a sin according to Leviticus 18:22, it says " DO NOT practice homosexuality it is a detestable sin". But at the same time, it does not say to harass or condemn homosexuals.

The black youth of today has not been discriminated against like their older generations. They have as many rights as any other race in this country today. Many people have fought to have it that way. There are bigots in every race of people.

Religious group is the key here, religion is man made. If they followed the bible they wouldn't be doing such things as you describe here.

Jesus told us to love everyone, so know he wouldn't approve and I hope the people in question will be quiet long enough for him to help them understand that.

It is people like that who give Christians a bad name, not all Christians or like that. These people or acting foolish, Jesus said to forgive others so that you may be forgiven. They have no right to condemn any one. God is the judge of all mankind, we as Christians or not the judge. †

Well, in the Bible it does talk agaisnt homosexuality.. but I do not believe that God would approve of them yelling at them like that. Yes, he wants them to try and talk to them, and save them.. but.. not in that way. That will only anger them... they are not helping matters at all.. just making them worse.
