What does He say? Where does this live in the Bible?

I would like to formalise my choice in Godparents but I understand that a dedication is more my promise as opposed to a christening where the Godparents make the promises..

Is that right? Can you still have Godparents with a dedication?

The findings in the ruins of the city of Rehov this summer include 30 intact beehives dating to around 900 B.C., archaeologist Amihai Mazar of Jerusalem's Hebrew University told The Associated Press. The beehives, made of straw and unbaked clay. The Bible repeatedly refers to Israel as a "land of milk and honey."
Were these references to beehives a prohecy of the coming of the 80's rock and roll group The B-52s? Given the vague allusions and the certainty that even the most far-fetched theory can prove the impending doom of the world as we know it, I have to believe so.
The B-52s song "Rock Lobster" has clear imagery of the horrors to come:
Here comes a stingray
There goes a manta-ray
In walked a jelly fish
There goes a dogfish
Chased by a catfish
In flew a sea robin
Watch out for that piranha
There goes a narwhale
HERE COMES A BIKINI WHALE!

If god made a man from nothing then why would he need to take one of his ribs to make a woman?

Question for the Christians that like to think about logistics...

Concerning God and time, what do you believe and why?

Does God live, operate, and think within our universe's "time"?
Does God live in a "time" that is outside our "time"?
Does God live outside of all time?

What I'm really interested in is how God is both all-powerful, yet still "thinks".

God is so powerful that He is not bound by any time, right? There is stuff going on in heaven right now, so that means some sort of time is passing in heaven... but of course God is not limited by that time, or any time right?

He is so powerful that He is above all time-frames, so how does He have a thought in His head? Thinking, decision making, reacting... these are all things that require time in order for the cause & effect to occur... so, is God trapped in time, or does He not perform what we generally consider to be "thinking" and "reacting"?

Just answer these simple questions.

Were Adam and Eve Homo Sapiens?
If so, why are we finding hundreds of skeletons of at least twelve different species that are NOT humans as they are today.

Doesn't this pretty much prove evolution?

And why be so narrow minded? Why couldn't God have been the force that put evolution into effect?

John 20 26-29
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Creation of the Earth? Creation of the Universe? Creation of the Big Bang(Singularity)? Creation of wherever Singularity came from? If Singularity transferred through unknowns such as Blackholes, then did God create the said parallell universes, and so on, and so on. How do YOU know when or if ever God was involved?

GOD created us for his enjoyment just like people do when having a baby, and when you have that child you give him rules just like GOD did to us and you discipline and guide that child with love and forgiveness just like GOD does for us ....

We can also give our child eternal life like GOD gives to us with salvation through Jesus Christ.

So aren't we emulating GOD whe we bring a child into the world?
