The WWE is called Wrestling Entertainment because it is not a legitimate sport...Is TBN, Daystar Etc..should they be called religious entertainment also because more and more to me they seem to be not legit...Look at all the mess with Paula White now she got a boob job now she is leaving her husband..Prophetess Juanita Bynum got the **** beat out of her by her husband the Rev Thomas Weeks and here Benny Hinn is preaching faith and he has armed guards and lives behind electric fences. Are these biblical hall of famers or just religious celebrities for religious entertainment?

When you believe strongly in something, it would come true. But what about you worrying about something?? Would that come true too?? What if the thing you're worried about is the opposite of what you believe will happen??

I was raised by a Catholic mom. I was baptized in a Catholic church and I had my first communion in the church. But, I was never confirmed. So, have I ever officially been Catholic?

Mat 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
Mat 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Mat 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

What does this mean? And where are these saints now, are they still appearing to many? Why or why not? Or did the church cut them off after a predetermined time, following Jesus' death? If so, when was that?

I think it was in the book "Timequake" by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. , an Atheist, that he said he didn't want his sister or wife (can't remember which) to stop believing in god, because he loved her. My question is, do you believe some people should continue buying into religion for their own good?

hypocritical that people can talk about past life, but also speak of Heaven and Hell. If we assume that Heaven and Hell do exist than wouldn't you not be able to live another life because you would be there for an eternity.

I am L.D.S., born and raised. I have told that my faith is a cult and that I need to get out fast. My thing is that I need more than someone say that, I need proof. If you can prove that my faith is santanic or a cult, or just evil, I will leave it. I will not turn to Traditional Christanity as I see too many holes in it. I will go Pagan instead. Can you prove it wrong without Wiki, Tanner or bashing?

NOTE: This is a serious question. This question is not meant to offend or ridicule anyone regardless of your belief.

To set up a serious EvC debate, for real not for joking, what should be the rules, i.e. common ground that theist and atheist must both agree on?

These are my thoughts but I want your input!

1. Both debaters should be well aware of the other side's opinions (the evolutionist should've read the bible, the theist should've learned what evolution really is)

2. The goal is to CONVINCE the other side, not to CONVERT

3. Both sides must accept the possibility that the belief of the other side is "The Truth"

4. No personal experience can be used for evidence

5. Phrases like "How can you just not..." are not allowed

6. All terms must be defined, and such definitions must be consistent through the debate

7. All documents, including the Bible, scientific papers, media articles, must be presented as "historical evidence" but not as "texts carrying spiritual meaning"

Larry Craig railed against homosexuality and gay marriage and publicly berated Clinton for that woman, Monica Lewinsky.

Sound just like Ted Haggard, doesn't it?

Hehe I'm just picking on you, Rev. But I was curious as to what others thought about it, because you often get thumbs downs before your full answer gets displayed because of this, so I was wondering if it bothered anyone.

Not to be taken too seriously.. I am just curious.

i asked a question about translation of the New Testament.
some one answerd and he mentioned Joseph's coat of many colors.
but in the original text (Hebrew) there is no mention of "many colors". just Joseph's coat. and its not a coat the right translation is a gown. its should be Joseph's gown.
its a Christian change of the Old Testament.

Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love.
I love to tell the story, because I know 'tis true;
It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do..............................................(finish?)
