Lt. Taura.... I'm a loner, I don't socialize much. I'm quiet, serious (that means I lack humor) optimistic, but I procrastinate something awful.

I'm overly sensitive, yet sometimes hard-assed. I often cry - happy or sad tears - at the drop of a hat. I love my kids something awful, and wouldn't think even once, let alone twice, about killing to protect them, yet can't kill a bug. I absolutely love to read *good* books (I'm not big on fiction of any kind, yet my favorite book ever is 'Don Quixote') and my daughter - a math major - teasingly puts me down by calling me an English major. I'm the champion of all procrastinators, so don't claim that title just yet :) I (and I didn't like admitting this to myself, when I realized it) have allowed a possessive man to pretty much run my life all these years, yet when he goes too far, he feels it. Physically. I really can't explain that one. It's always been a love/hate thing with us. I guess, most of all, I'm Amy's, Buddy's and Squeaky's mom. I am them.
Oops! And crossword puzzles and cryptograms, of all things. If I were a guy, the Sunday paper would probably give me a woody, lol! I've been teased mightily about that, also.

Yes, honesty does count. It is one of the most important traits that make a person attractive to me. If you can't trust someone, what is the point in having them in your life. I have been taught that being honest is something that is a necessity if your are to succeed in life and I hope that people will recognize that I am an honest person. I try to give my thoughts and opinions when I am asked and I think that my friends feel that I am trustworthy. Have I ever lied. Yes, I am sorry to say that I have but it is not about anything that has to do with an important issue. I have to admit to telling white lies on occasion to spare someone from being hurt. (For instance: If asked if I like someone's choice of clothing and I don't love it, I will say that it looks OK so they won't be offended. I think that this is not a major issue though, yes, it is a lie.) I do not do that when it comes to important and serious issues.

a caring, sensitive, intelligent Christian with high morals and ethics and no tolerance to lies and deception. I believe in standing up for what I bleieve in and not being fake but being real. I'm also apparently so I've been told an expenisve upkeep. not sure what was meant by that? But I know I'm a pain in the *** too. Oh I'm also a mom and I love being a mom and what is the opposite of a feminst? Well I'm the opposite.

actually i'm very honest. my friends tell me that i'm too honest for my own good. i don't see how that's possible.
if someone asks me a question i may not answer it, but if i do they know that what i say is true.
fairly quiet. a bit sarcastic, and sometimes i can be pretty impatient with people especially when it's something stupid.
i try never to hurt anyone, and to help whenever possible.
hmm...a little too serious sometimes.

Opinionated. Obsessed with learning. I don't care for social events for most part. Sarcastic. Easily frustrated with those who prefer to rely on double standards. Family oriented. Stubborn as a mule.

I've never met a stranger. I'm funny or so people tell me. I'm witty. I'm a thinker. I'm a reader, I read books most don't, I love reading about the brain, our bodies, nutrition etc.
And I'm a procrastinator also and sloppy around the house.
I'm very low maintenance and I HATE to shop!

As for honesty, I lied in the past when it was needed. Mainly to authority figures. The few who matter know more than they could ever possibly want to know.

I am me. I'm different than most people by career choice, I'm sometimes unusual, sometimes mainstream, and as my eldest tells me, we're not as wierd as we think we are.
I am a moral person, but openminded as well. I am a decent person.

I am honest, loyal, responsible, caring, tenderhearted, spiritual, protective, considerate, crazy at times- in a good way, courage -no fear at times. I am different as we all are. I love God...we stand by one another......... I am who I am:)
