Is there a word that would be "safe" to cover both Catholicism and Judaism for our non-denominational wedding ceremony? The officiant will be doing a wedding blessing...... What word for the higher being works? God? Lord?

Here is Number 6:23-26 from the New King James Version (it should be acceptable to both Christian and Jewish ceremonies)
24 “The LORD bless you and keep you;

25 The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;

26 The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Jehovah is an appropriate name for God in the ceremony, given that the name is used in both Christianity and Judaism.

how are you making that a non-denominational wedding with their both a denomination?

God and Lord are the same.

God is central to both of your belief systems. But are you just asking, so that nobody witnessing the wedding is offended?
