the Catholic church does NOT use the King james version of the Bible.
In fact words of wisdom are in the book of
Ecclesiasticus ( Sirach).........one of the seven books not found in the King James,
In the 16th c., Luther, reacting to serious abuses and clerical corruption in the Latin Church, to his own heretical theological vision , and, frankly, to his own inner demons, removed those books from the canon that lent support to orthodox doctrine, relegating them to an appendix. Removed in this way were books that supported such things as prayers for the dead (Tobit 12:12; 2 Maccabees 12:39-45), Purgatory (Wisdom 3:1-7), intercession of dead saints (2 Maccabees 15:14), and intercession of angels as intermediaries (Tobit 12:12-15).
And here is another interesting thought..................
Luther wanted to remove
the Epistle of James,
Esther,
Hebrews,
Jude
and Revelation.
Calvin and Zwingli also both had problems with the Book of Revelation, the former calling it "unintelligible" and forbidding the pastors in Geneva to interpret it, the latter calling it "unbiblical".
So to answer the question.........there is a lot of ignorance due to the lack of knowledge.
Seek wisdom.

An old saying that I used to remember when I am criticize, misunderstood, or suffering goes like this, "Those who have not tested the bitterest of life's bitter can never taste the sweetest of life's sweet." And St. Paul says, "The sufferings of this present life cannot be compared of the glory that will be revealed is us in the after life." So hope in God and believe that God will do wonderful things that you do not expect. God allows things to happen for our own good.

I've heard a lot about the catholic church, most of which can be backed by the king james version of the bible, the same version that the catholics themselves ise. So I think these "words of wisdom" actually apply to those who speak them. There are so many holes in the doctrine of the catholics its sad that their numbers are so great. I only wish people would be more teachable and honestly study and attentively read the bible and the doctrine we have in our times.
