What would be the immediate effects worldwide? This is simply a hypothetical question, I'm not arguing if it's possible or not.

Allah's Apostle said, "Who is willing to kill Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?"

Thereupon Muhammad bin Maslama got up saying, "O Allah's Apostle! Would you like that I kill him?"

The Prophet said, "Yes,"

Muhammad bin Maslama said, "Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab). "

The Prophet said, "You may say it." ... (Sahih al-Bukhari 5.369)

If Satan was disguised as a human, and we are supposed to Love Thy Neighbor, Are we supposed to love Satan?

I get a lot of criticism from people because I believe my religion is God's true religion and that all other religions are less true or rather lack the full truth. This doesn't mean I hate other religions or discriminate against their members. It doesn't mean I think they will all go to Hell or anything. I just disagree with them.

It appears that many believe that all religions are true and that religion is simply a matter of opinion. It seems they take offense to the idea that God might have 1 true chuch and not many.

Is truth subjective?

If all churches teach different doctorines, how can they possibly all be true?

If they're not all true, should we pretend they are? Is that the politically correct thing to do?

Why would someone want to be a member of a church they don't believe is true? Or that they think just might be one of many true churches?

Wouldn't they want to keep looking for the truth?

I'm confused, someone help me understand.

What makes you think we're so different from other animals when it comes to instinct and our most basic biological drives?

I'm serious. I want to know why people buy into bizarre conspiracy theories when secular historians say that Jesus existed. Some details are disputed. But that there was a Jesus of Nazareth, born of Mary and crucified by the Romans there is no doubt.

Gosh... the absurdity of some beliefs is overwhelming. Life after death...??? Prayer...? Personal relationships with spirits and invisable gods...?

Yo believers.... Have you considered yourselves lately... have you thought about how you appear to others..?

Muslims believe that if they die defending god, they go straight to 7th heaven and recieve special rewards. It's nuts, isn't it..?

Christians are always saying that homosexuals are not natural and that god does not approve of them. But how about the many animals in nature that are gay? Like the dwarf chimpanzee, or bonobo, one of humanity’s closest relatives. Or the dolphin or the killer whale? Did these animals somehow become perverted in their life time and get influenced by satan? One would think that what happens in nature would be considered natural, no? I am just confused on your views, please clarify this.

without a god to declare purpose, life is in a larger sense, meaningless. why care?

nevertheless, we do care. and it's this caring that, in effect, gives hope. from this, a set of values and perhaps a meaning to life can be found.

this brings up the question: why does anyone anywhere have this desire to make the world around them just a little bit better? having this motivation for no reason seems almost irrational. isn't it more logical to be apathetic?

As I understand it, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus was speaking about 1914 when he said "This generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur."

1914 was 93 years ago... it seems that there couldn't be many living Jehovah's Witnesses remaining who are this old. Does the Watchtower Society keep track of how many there are left today? Honest question. Thanks.

Cain and Abel both made sacrifices to god, Abel gave god a "good sacrifice" while Abel gave god a "bad sacrifice". Isn't good and a bad all in the perception of the person thinking about it? So, why did god accept Abel's sacrifice while not accepting Cain's?

What happens next in the story, after the sacrifice, does God talk to Cain?

I don't mean to judge anyone...how many christians do you think really consider if passages in the bible are wholly accurage or do they just follow it blindly? not questioning whether the vatican did any editing of its own.

For example, I read somewhere that passages regarding reincarnation and chakras were taken out of the new testament during the 3rd century. If such were to be proven true, would christians be open to adopting these ideas?

- At the very least, why don't most people take the time to learn about ALL theories?

I'm an athiest, so swearing on the bible is no more convincing me not to lie than swearing on any other book, but that doesn't mean I'm going to lie because contrary to popular belief I actually have morals. What the hell is the bible gonna do to me if I do lie?

Firstly I'm not an atheist What good comes out of religion when they wish hell apon others by playing satmatics by saying that everyones else is going to hell? That's called dispising someone and it's evil not only that but religion is why so people go to war to fight each other, and kill each other. Religion also aborts the idea that killing animals for food is evil in fact it's evil how would you like to killed for someone elses food? Wouldn't that be evil? And don't say I'm angry I'm calm right now. When will you people wake up and realise that it's one big lie just so that they can scam money out of you and power. I believe that there is a god but I don't believe he/she set any rules for us like religion would make you believe or should I say brainwash you with when your a child. And knowing you this won't even change your mind right because you would hate to admit that actually wrong and when you die you will find out the truth that your never truley coming back.

Are they talking about the same thing? Whenever someone is converted to LDS, they get the 'gift' of the Holy Ghost by the laying on the hands... If they leave the church, supposedly they lose that gift. It is made out to be a very exclusive 'gift.'

So other churches have it too.. How could that be possible?

I think it is about time we created a new religion. The last one created was Jedi I think but that was over 20 years ago.

Can you suggest things that I should add to the religion ? (nothing stupid like drinking beer for breakfast) I dont like the idea of christian sermons but I think christmas parties are pretty cool. The idea of not drinking in muslim views is a good one but not total prohibition.
I wonder if we need a persona to follow. Mohammed and Jesus had their day but maybe thinking of giving Kylie Minogue a go or even the crankies.

and none of this cult stuff either. Catholic/muslim Terrorists extremists have no place in this church/temple/sinagog. BTW what can we call the meeting place. I am thinkning tavern but maybe you have a better name ?

I have one dislike about it : If we die and we find out that we were right the whole time, we don't get to rub it in thier faces.

But do you seriously dislike any aspect about atheism?
