when u say death u mean physical death. the ceasing of function of our body. but we are not our body. we are spirit beings with a living soul that temporally live in the physical body. God created us to be part of His family. so we need to be in obediance to him to be part of his family. that is what accepting christ jesus is all abt. God said if u believe in Jesus u will live with me forever else u burn in hell for ever. for u see our spirit cannot die. so either we live forever in torment in the lake of fire with other wicked people and demons or we live in God's heaven happyly

Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 says:
"For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol(mankind's grave), the place to which you are going."
Yes, death is the end of life. That was the punishment for man's sin from Adam onward.(Romans 5:12, Genesis 3:19, and Romans 6:23)
Jesus was the ransom paid for Adam's sin. A perfect man had to buy back what a perfect man lost. What was lost was everlasting life on earth. Soon Jesus will rid the earth of all wickedness and those who worship God in spirit and truth will be blessed with everlasting life on a paradise earth, which was God's original purpose for mankind.
Scriptural references for the above statements are:
Matthew 20:28 = Jesus a ransom for many.
Genesis 2:15-17= Adam and Eve told they would die if they ate from a certain tree. If they were going to die anyway this command would not mean much. They were to live forever as long as they were faithful to their heavenly Father
.
2 Thessalonians 1:6-9 = Jesus will come against all those who do not know God and who do not obey the good news about Jesus.
Psalms 37:9-11,29 = God to destroy the wicked and give abundance of peace to the meek and they are to live on earth forever.
Matthew 5:5 = Jesus quoted the scripture from Psalms saying the meek shall inherit the earth.
Revelation 19:11-16 = Jesus is coming to judge the earth with righteousness and that will mean an adverse judgment for many.
John 4:23,24 God is looking for people that will worship him in spirit and truth.

Life and death are part of the same cycle. There is no beginning, no end. Only a ceaseless continuity.

Christ promised it was the beginning of a new life. He went to prepare a place for me so that where he is, I may be also.
He's been working on it for 2000 years. I bet is one awesome place.

Don't ask goofy questions... you'll bring out all the wackos.
Death is death. It's the effing end of the line and that's so obvious that a child can see it. It's really a sorry excuse for an individual when folks lie to themself and claim to believe that death isn't final.... How absurd is that...?
