The people who think the Earth is young are still trying to figure out how the Ark survived worse storms than anything we've seen despite being a really big wooden ship beyond the capabilities of the materials used to build it.

because of the fact with the aid of the a while " guy " is misguided and God is right. The Bible aspects an entire relatives tree from Adam to Jesus. you may bypass in the process the genealogies and upload up the years. you will get a finished this is in simple terms over 4,000 years. upload the two,000 years because of the fact the time of Jesus and you get in simple terms over 6,000 years because of the fact God created each and every thing. modern-day technology exhibits the moon is drawing nearer to the earth ... how can this be while the earth grew to become into Billions of years previous ? Its a flaw and its thoroughly incorrect. The earth is barely approximately 6,000 years previous and thats the fact.

There are dozens of big holes in the Young Earth Creationism theory and you've hit on one of them. Most of the people who really support this theory will tell you something that loosely amounts to "because that's how God did it" and expect you to be satisfied. It's a faith and not a science. If you believe it then the lack of proof and presence of flaws is not a problem. If you don't believe it then don't worry, you don't have to disprove it nor could you because they take this position out of faith.

Ummm... I think you found your own answer.

Although I'm not Christian, you gave it yourself.

Premise: The Earth is 6,000ish years old.
No big life-ending meteors have hit the Earth in that time.
Therefore we were never exterminated by such a meteor.

Of course, that whole idea doesn't make much sense to me, but I could see someone arguing it.

I'm more interested in knowing how the Egyptians built everything they did with only (if you averaged the proposed world population with the other major cities at the time) 100 people.

People miss interpet the Creation Story. A saint once pionted out that " If the sun was created on the fourth 'day' of creation, the creation days could not have been solar (24hour) days because the sun was created after the first 'day'." So this is a good example that each creation day could have been millions of years!

Who told you the earth was 6-8000 years old? None of us knows exactly how old earth is. Doesn't matter, evolution still didn't happen. Creation did.
