We can preach at them, beat them over the head with our Bibles, and quote scripture until we are blue in the face. How does that "prove" that God exists? What do you think you can do to prove that God exists?

Do you "earn" a drink based on the questions, on the questions 'they' ask; or both? Or can I just make up my own?

I know this may result in people *drinking* on my behalf. But, oh well, we only live once so go ahead - have one on me!

I'm not sure if it is because of the severe lag issues that have been happening these few days, maybe all the regulars got their accounts suspended, or people just decided to go outside today. What do you think?

isn't there enough of the real word and universe to explore and understand before you start on the 'spiritual' element.

Dear Christians, do you think that if you had been born an Iranian, into a Muslim family, that would you believe that
Mohamed was the one true messenger of God, and Jesus was a great prophet, but only human.
Or do you think you would convert to Christianity?

My Dad has a small business, a car lot. He has a great reputation, and he and my mom run the business, and they are both good Christians. Well, we got this customer who is a Christian, but I am afraid he misunderstands the Bible on some key issues. For example, he helps this elderly lady out, and openly admits that he does this because the Bible says he will reap rewards for doing so. That seems selfish to me, and the wrong reason for helping someone.

Well, anyway, the guy wants us to hold a car for him, because he says he "Claimed it" in the name of Jesus. But he doesn't have the money for it! And he expects us to just hold it for who knows how long until he gets the money. He keeps calling it his car, and I'm sure he thinks we're faithless because we refused to hold it for him.

Now the guy is coming at least every other day to our car lot and witnessing to our customers! He goes and prays over them, and has become a real nuisance.

How do we deal with this guy?

It was written by no less than 35 seperate authors and that is why it is full of contradiction.

The divine revelation sent to Jesus was lost.

The NT are bits and pieces of what people remember was said decades after Jesus left.

People babble on about prayer as a stress-reliever... but I've usually found that taking a good nap is just about as effective. How about you?

Why is it that, in your minds, Cod & Jecus live forever? Why makes them so special? Why are they the only ones still alive after thousands of years? How come we cant all be the same as them? And, if they are suppose to still be alive or whatever you want to call it, then, dont you think they would want to be seen, to brag & show off & make a profit?

According to Moslems the word of Allah has been sent all over the world.
The daily fasting period in Ramadan is from sunrise to sunset. Ramadan shifts about 11 days a year according to the Gregorian (solar) calendar.
Above the Artic circle, in summer the sun does not set for 6/8 weeks.

How could a Muslim living above the Artic observe the fast if Ramadan fell in a Northern summer. Starve or thirst to death?

Conversly if it fell in winter, no sun 6/8? weeks, could one ignore the fast entirely.

As the Muslim calendar is lunar and not solar this must occour maybe12 times every century. (There's another question, how many times would it happen?)

Serious answers please, I don't want answers like 90% of those I got for "Mohammed's ascension to heaven" question earlier today.
If you just want to slag off Islam or convert me to Islam you're wasting my time, I'm an athiest anyway and I'll report you for abuse.
Note well all you bible bashers out there!
