You are absolutely on target. We indeed don't need any religion. What we really need however is an association with a true saint, whom we call Guru.
The world will always remain like it is, but we will get the bliss and that will end all our miseries.
There never will come a day when everything will be 'alright' in this world. Or we may say that everything is already alright in this world. But everything is wrong with us and that is the cause of our miseries.

It would end many miseries, but it doesn't end them all. I do consult directly with the Lord, on a daily basis. I pray, and the Holy Spirit is how the Lord speaks back to me. Yet I still suffer many different miseries (such as the flu, stress, being cold, effects of aging, etc). But knowing the Lord is guiding me does reduce my anxiety (which would otherwise be extreme).
It's true that if everyone consulted directly with the Lord, then many miseries would be ended. People would be more kind and merciful and loving towards each other if they had the Lord to guide their every action.
But if there was no religion, then I would never have learned about the Lord, and I would not have learned how to consult directly with him.
It's like this: If there were no parents to control the children, then children would not have to rebel against their parents as teenagers. However, there would be a lot less teenagers in the world, if there were no parents to control the actions of children.
Religion is the parent that controls the children, and keeps them safe until they have learned enough to govern themselves safely and lovingly.

Hi Anil. I'm sure it would not end the miseries in the world. More often, now days, wars are commenced to satisfy the greed or the political ideals of the dominant government(s)
Furthermore, people have entirely the wrong idea of what religion is anymore. It is not a proscribed set of rituals or laws. According to Scripture, "relgion" is this:
James 1: 27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
Such a philosophy certainly does not promote harm to your fellow man on any level and is, in fact, diametrically opposed to such a concept.
Real religion is between the Lord and us directly and would prompt us to follow such counsel as the passage in James gives. Real religion is nothing more or less than your personal relationship with your Creator.
This is why I am non-denominational. I can always find something to object to in any organized church and the way things are done, etc. But I know my walk with the Lord and that is all that matters. This allows me to go into any Christian church and to be able to accept what they say that I know is Biblical, while filtering out that which is not. When you are a true scholar of God's word, you are firm in your beliefs and are able to do that.

Even today the most wanted religion is Humanity & people are understanding after watching Fanatism through their religion.
The relationship between Humanity & Lord is going to last to end all miseries automatically..

That's Spirituality to me--- I don't know about misery of the world change, But what freeded me to get in touch with God, to choose God as I understood Him, a God that understands me, through that and the Bible, sharing with others, reading
others experience, taught me how to live and let live, Take the good I can use and let the reat go, The Bible is for me to understand, Not to use it as a bat on others. Hard enough to change my self, let alone any one else. Much truth in the words, Don't argue about politics and religion. Just share your experience, hope, and strength.

In the beginning, that is what it was... in the Garden of Eden, the Lord would come and walk with Adam and Eve together. It was intended to be that way... but because our world has fallen into sin, Satan is trying to distort that vision, causing many different flavors of religion. I believe that we won't be judged on our religion per say during the second coming, but on how well we emulated what we believed. After the second coming, it will return to no religion, with just us and God.

Of course not. People cause misery, not
denominations. Soon it will be the Lord and us directly. Things are going to get straightened out and this nonsense you see going on is coming to a dead halt.
For 1000 years there will be teaching and the most strict of disipline; both of which are needed badly. Those who seem to have a problem keeping their drawers up
regardless of what the heck sex it is, will learn some self-control and disipline.
Those who think they are getting away with other forms of nonsense, like strutting their sin down the streets of the Holy City for example, have a special surprize in store for them.
This crap is gonna get quickly erradicated, and people are going to live decently or not at all. Thank God.

Anil, once the Big Changes start, and the major world religious teachers come back and tell the people how they have been controlled and lied to in the name of God, religion will cease to exist, as all the fraud in it will be fully exposed. There will be NO MORE churches; there will only be spiritual learning centers where people go to learn about preparing for Ascension to the 5th Dimension and higher.

NO RELIGION AND NO LORD, NOT EVEN US.
I think that's the only recipe for ending all miseries in the world.

Get saved and there won't be any religion just a personal relationship with our Savior.
A lot of people do but God is not going to stop the world sinning until the appointed time.
