Eve bit the apple, and sinned. I think it's quite clear HOW she sinned, do you want me to spell it out?

the fact that the ban on incest did no longer happen till generations later shows that incest became allowed in the previous. there became purely Adam and Eve, they had many little babies. For the human race to boost, those babies could could marry their siblings, nieces or nephews, and cousins. It amazes me that folk can't settle for this, because of the fact of today's aversion to incest, and declare that it is entirely a speculated assumption because of the fact it is not chanced on interior the Bible. for this reason this would't be the fact. yet, those comparable human beings can leap to the theory that there have been human beings's interior the land and the babies of Adam and Eve married into those families. yet there is no longer something interior the Bible approximately those so-reported as human beings. The Bible is particular that God created Adam and Eve and that they have got been the mum and dad of all of mankind. The Bible did no longer say that Cain met his spouse in Nod, purely that he 'knew' her and she or he bore him a baby. And, because of the fact the Bible does not say how previous Cain became whilst he murdered Abel, nor how previous he became whilst he went to Nod, there's a great gamble that if there have been human beings in Nod at that element that those human beings have been a number of Cain's brothers and sisters and thier families, yet no longer an distinctive team of unrelated human beings.

That is a very good question.

I am no scientist but I will try to explain it according to my understanding. And it's just common sense.

When God made everything including the earth, plants, animals, man and the water and aire that we breathe it was perfect. This is according to the Bible. The perfection included their genetic structure that included their ability to have children.

As such, and your question must of necessity include all the animals in both air and land besides humans, they were all "perfect" as was their offspring.

However in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve sinned, all creation became corrupted, including their gene pool. But all this took over a very long time. Of course through time after many offspring man began to notice that intermarriage between immediate family members was not healthy. So that any genetic defect in one family was passed quickly to the offspring.

But man has learned that by marrying outside the family, the genetic defect in a family is diminished greatly.

That is my limited understanding of why "incest" from Adam and Eve's children. And it was God that commanded Adam and Eve to have children. So from that commandment their children would marry and have kids.

Incest now is a huge sin for the genetic chances of a duplication of a genetic defect in one family that is passed on their children is greatly increased. That was true then and is true now.

It was man's disobedience to God, called sin, that caused that genetic defects to occur.

There were other people on the earth. How else did Cain go to a city and find a wife?
