Didn't the early papacy also prohibit the general population from reading the holy scriptures and interpreting them? Were'nt they the ones who changed the Ten Commandments to fit their needs? Why does the Watchtower Society change so many words in the Bible to fit their needs? Isn't the Bible God's Word as is?

The United Nations reports that a lack of fresh, clean drinking water inflicts enormous hardship on more than a billion members of the human family, and more than 3 million die each year from lack of access to fresh, clean water.

Why did your designer make 97% of the crucial element humans need to live, undrinkable? Five year old children understand this concept. Your all-knowing god couldn't forsee this problem when he designed Earth's ecosystem, and his most cherished creations? If he cared so much about you, wouldn't he have made the seas freshwater, or designed people so they'd be able to drink salt water?

This doesn't seem like a very "intelligent" designer to me.

(Now we're probably gonna hear how he took out his giant salt shaker after Adam & Eve sinned.)

Do you understand that if we break God's law one time we deserve death in Gods eyes? Do you see that everyone deserves death and to go to hell? Can you see that hell is a sentence for our sin against God. The only way we do not have to go to hell and pay our own sentence, for breaking the law, is if our sentence is paid for by another. Jesus took our sentence if we choose to take the free gift of God.

If God did not spare His only begotten Son from His wrath, do you think you will be safe on your own?

Even if a person doesn't believe in him would he look to them in a good way if they loved all life unconditionally.

It would be kind of hard to see a person give all of their heart and soul to their fellow man throughout life to only end up in hell.

The pluralistic American society is changing from being a "melting pot" to a "salad bowl"' in which all ingredients are encouraged to preserve and display their distinct individual taste and flavor. However, even though Islam is a major religion with over 1 billion followers worldwide and over 6 million in the U.S.A., some Americans still think it is a cult, some believe all Muslims are terrorists or have 4 wives.

The ongoing crisis in the Muslim world and the misrepresentation of Islam sometimes by the media challenges us to answer questions by our non- Muslim friends about our way of life in a simple and concise language.

What is the Islamic view on
dating and premarital sex
abortion
homosexuality and AIDS
euthanasia and suicide
organ transplantation

Now try this one: Does Christianity exist and how can you prove it?

Here's another: Does the idea of God exist and how can you prove it?

And finally: Does God exist and how can you prove it?

When you've finished answering all four questions, please tell why your proof of the last question is correct, insufficient or absent.

like - The same God that holds this very universe in the palm of his hands, the same God that tells every rain drop where to fall, the same God that tells every lighting bolt where it should go.

What are some other similar examples?

Why do you spend so much time fighting something you do not believe in? I find it ironic you usually throw two bits in a conversation concerning your unbelief in God which, of course, you say does not exist. So why toss vain to the wind in a religious question because you have no hope in eternity?

Christ has promised He will return, some believe there is a secret rapture, that Christ will call the righteous from this earth secretly, some believe as I do, that it will be an awsome sight, an explosion of sound and light, mountains will shake and every eye shall see it together with audible shouts from Christ himself to raise the dead who are sleeping to join the living who, are changed instantly into glorious beings and join Him in the air (1Thess.5v9). I know there are various thoughts on the ressurection morning, but Id like to know, if the dead in Christ are to be ressurected when he calls on that day, why do most Christians believe the dead are already in heaven and how can they be ressurected if they are already with Jesus?

Most of you are repeatedly saying that the WBTS is not the infallible, inspired-by-God, Jehovah's only organization, that we all believe you think it is.

Um, if you don't think that... then WHY do you think it is the one true religion?

I am not mocking, I am being completely serious.

If you are in a religion with teachings that you openly state are not inspired by God, how can you believe it is true?
