Last week my neighbour Archie Futtock burned to death in his car on the I70.

As a Born Again Christian I think he will go to hell. This is because he was a sinner.

If he was burned, this means only his body was destroyed and his soul is still intact.

So then his soul goes to hell. Our preacher says hell is full of fire and brimstone.

But I am worried that his soul might not suffer.

If the car wreck did not burn his soul, then how will hell burn his soul, or even make his soul uncomfortable?

Are souls fireproof because they are made from invisible materials like asbestos?

I need some serious theological help from you experts please.

King David's Top 7 List

From our home Temple in Jerusalem. King David's top seven reasons why Jesus was not the Jewish Messiah.

7) Unwritten Jewish Oral Law Tradition: Messiah not allowed to have more than 100 million innocents killed in his name.

6) At least David Copperfield reappears.

5) Required to fulfill minimum of one Messianic prophecy in Tanakh within first 1,000 years (or first 1,500 years if extended Messiah warranty coverage is purchased).

4) Before telling followers to believe based on faith alone, forgot to say, “Simon says”.

3) Unlike Maimonides, didn't have enough sense to listen to mother and become doctor.

2) Is unquestionably considered Messiah in Poland.

1) Isaiah warns us not to follow a man-made religion led by a carpenter in Chapter 44.

So who knows the Jewish prophecies better, Jews or Christians?

Science is science. It is not your enemy unless facts are your enemy. Things are either proven or disproven through testing. Science does not exist to "attack" your beliefs, science finds truth through facts and evidence.

"you name your emotions, you can tame them, according to new research that suggests why meditation works. "

"Brain scans show that putting negative emotions into words calms the brain's emotion center. That could explain meditation’s purported emotional benefits, because people who meditate often label their negative emotions in an effort to “let them go.” "

In today's Yahoo's Home page the above information has appeared.---What are your comments?

Either you are ALIVE in Christ or you are DEAD in your sin.

Either you allow yourself to be LIFTED UP by God or you bow before SATAN.

Either you will spend eternity in HEAVEN or in HELL?

Which one will you choose?

instead of prayer?

Paganism certainly predayes christianity, so surely they should get the opportunity? And no, no blood sacrifice or invoking of demons....paganism isn't about that.

Would you be against 1 groups' views being forced on all children?

People believe in the big bang and evolution. That stuff is all junk. Obviously there is a God, I mean think about it. How could some stupid chemical reaction create such a complex body and such a complex world. As for evolution, How was the world created? It sure did not come from a monkey. I am a Christian. Don't be afraid to speak what you think but I will stand on God's word I just want your opinion.
Thanks

The Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation has made massive donations to India and recently awarded 1 million dollars to Thialand as well, (The award is annually given to support the efforts of governments attempting to stop the spread of HIV.) The donations made by the Gates Foundation are intended to stem the threat of HIV and the uncontrolled population growth rates in heavily populated countries.

Do you think this is the right thing to do? Does it offend your religious conscience?

After reading some responses about nursing in Church, I discovered that a majority of Christians think that breasts are dirty and evil.

All Mammals feed their young the same way. And allegedly this was designed by God. I've never seen a Christian cover a dog and her puppies in shame, so why the shame about their own mammary glands?

Where breast created by Satan, possibly after the fall? And did the baby Jesus nurse? If so, does that mean that he was not without sin, since breasts are sinful?

i used to think that karma and providence were the same thing. [you get rewarded and punished on account of your actions.] but if that's the case, where does grace [free gift regardless of righteousness] come in?
I was reading the Catholic theologian Anselm of Canterbury, and he explained that grace is something that works alongside free will; in fact, grace helps us but does not compel us to do what is right; and in return, by choosing what is right, we get more grace [i think that's what he meant.]
Is it possible to reconcile that with the doctrine of karma?

And what sources do you use to support your belief?

All religions (or lack of) are welcome to answer, but please do not include whether you believe in it or not, because it's not relevant to the question.

This should be a pretty easy two points.

scientifically false or impossible !!?

1)- Earth is a circular disk (Isa 40:22).

3)- Earth does not move (Ps 93:1, 96:10, 104:5, 1 Chr 16:30).

to make it against the law to speak against homosexuality? And if so, who among us will make the stand because it's spiritually correct.

So I got this Gay guy friend. I am a straight female.
Since it is a sin for him to not to be homosexual, but rather partake in homosexual activity I was wondering if it would be a sin if I slept with him just this once so he wouldn't be forced to masturbate and then wouldn’t be spilling his seed?
He also wants to know if you will hurry up and answer this question...

Many followers of the christian belief use the bible as the cornerstone for their morality on social issues; from abortion to capital punishment one will hear that killing is wrong and against the word of their deity.

However, according to their bible, their deity employed a form of capital punishment on the population it supposedly created when it flooded the earth.

How can one rationalize worshiping a deity that does not abide by the same moral standards they do?
