Yes, its very true. Its called HR1592 or S-1105; it comes packaged as if it is an anti-hate bill; the gay lobbyists say that gays require extra protection under the law, and yet a black person is more than 300% more likely to be the victim of a "hate crime". They continually use that poor boy named Shepard, I believe, as their poster-child for this bill they want to pass. The boy was gay, and he was murdered. However, the murderers stated emphatically that it had nothing to do with his sexual preference at all - they killed him because he refused to give them money he owed to them in a drug deal gone bad. It was drugs, plain and simple. Lots of people die due to drug deals everyday. Some Senators asked the gay lobbyists about why they felt they needed more protection, since there are plenty of laws that cover any attack on another human being, regardless of who you are. Assault, assault with a deadly weapon, etc...- these crimes are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Their answer was that they are less able to protect themselves. So they asked about other members of our society being put onto that bill for that extra protection, but the gays emphatically stated that it was only they who needed extra protection. This is a list of those who the gays say CAN PROTECT THEMSELVES JUST FINE:
children
the elderly
disabled and handicapped
mentally retarded
minorities

This bill is already on the books at the State level - including my State of Pennsylvania. They want to pass it as Federal Law. Two old grandmoms, one 75 and one 76 yrs of age were arrested, fingerprinted, changed to prison garb and thrown into general prison population at the Philadelphia County Jail for a "hate crime" under the State portion of this same proposed bill. What on Earth did these old ladies do?
What they have done every Sunday afternoon for the past 30 years: they stand out in front of their little church on Sunday afternoons and hand out little Bible pamphlets. One of them handed one out and said "Have a God blessed day, honey".
Ut oh: she just committed a "hate crime". Both women face
47 years in prison, which is the rest of their lives. You see,
this is also called the "thought crimes bill". The women were arrested for the EXACT SAME CRIME as if they dragged the guy out to an open field, and beat him bloody, leaving him for dead. The EXACT SAME CRIME. Why? Because the bill says that if you hand out literature you must believe in what that literature says. If you believe in what the Bible says, then you are thinking "hate", because surely you must be against
the gay deathstyle (oh, i mean lifestyle). If you are against the gay lifestyle, then you are thinking "hatefully". Under this bill, if you are possibly "thinking hate" then its the exact same thing as committing hate. This bill is the gay agenda's way to silence Christians from shining a light on their filthy deeds.
They can't stand it -that light is blinding them. The bill will
make it illegal to teach or preach the Books of Romans or Corinthians. Pastors and Priests will be arrested along with Bible teachers. People who choose to bring up their kids with Christian values will be in jeopardy of loosing their children because they are supposedly teaching their children "hate", and that constitutes child abuse. This legislation is being called the "most dangerous legislation ever introduced in the History of the United States of America". And it truly is. It gives elevated status to only gays and crossdressers. All crimes committed against heterosexual folks will be considered "second tier crimes", because they were not against gays. Can you imagine telling the parents of the VA Tech victims that their kids were "second tier" because they aren't gay? Per the bill,
you can drag an elderly woman outside, beat her bloody and leave her for dead, and you will get 33% LESS JAIL TIME THAN IF YOU VERBALIZE A HATEFUL QUOTE TO A GAY PERSON. In Mass. the Public Schools have "thought police".
These are people who walk the halls and listen to kids converstations, and if they sound like they are not in agreement with being gay, they are arrested. Thats already happening now, today. A law has already been passed that says if you say any of the following things at work, even on your break, you will be instantly fired, lose all your benefits, even your retirement if you are about to retire this Friday:

1. "natural family"
2. "family values"
3. "marriage" (in fairness, you are only in jeopardy if you are discussing mary and jims wedding - if you are speaking about how lovely steve and ronalds gay wedding was, well, don't worry - you are as safe as a bug in a rug. no problem.

Yes, these bills are not only being considered, but they already passed the house, and only need to be passed by the Senate. If you want to get involved in stopping this
attack on freedom of speech and freedom of religion, go
to: Grassfire.org, or missionamerica.com, or AFA.com -

Only about 1% of the people in this Nation are homosexual;
but realize that they have lots and lots of disposable income to donate to this lobby of theirs - after all, they don't have the expense of raising children. Speaking of children, this fall
many of the Public schools will be teaching FIRST GRADE CHILDREN how to have gay sex - if you have school age children, check out your own Public School to see what plan they have for next fall. You may be horrified, I warn you.
I just got an email from a lady in California who just read the new cirriculum for her 7yr old child come this fall.
Do you know what they will teach that little boy? How to best have a penis inserted into the anus without rupturing too many blood vessels. Can you imagine that? These little kids don't even understand natural sexual relations yet. This is a clear indoctrination of small children to see to it that the gay
community continues, since obviously they are not having children, and so they need to ATTACK YOURS.
This is also why they are so fervent about wanting to adopt children. Its already been fully proven, by a non-biased Governmental statistics group (actually they are more biased FOR THE GAYS) that says that homosexuals have a life span that is 20 years LESS than heterosexuals. They also
have the problem of Aids to deal with. So if they don't take
these steps, they know they will "die out" like the dinosaurs.

A closing note: If this was not all prophecied in Scripture, I would be a whole lot more upset about it; but the fact is that
its exactly what is expected, and its gonna get a whole lot worse before the end. God is in control, but is giving all of those ungodly all the rope they need to hang themselves,
and they will. Scripture tells us that the destruction of Sodom and Gommorah was an example of what God plans to do again - He's gonna burn up the whole ungodly bunch, and they deserve it - how disrespectful and arrogant was it to parade fat gay men thru the streets of the Holy City of Jerusalem, fondling each other and french kissing as they went? "abomination" doesn't even quite say it; I assure you those who are ungodly as that will pay for each and every step they took thru those Streets in the very City that Christ calls "his own".

It's unthinkable that this country is allowing these bills to pass. Something needs to be done immediately. You can now be arrested for saying you don't think homosexuality is "natural". We have judges letting child rapists off with probation but we can now get up to 10 years in jail for expressing our opinions. There have been protests (the one I'm remembering happened in NY) where Muslims burned the American Flag and said they would never follow American laws, only allah's, talked about death and killing but nothing was done to stop them. That's called freedom of speech. This is why liberals and democrats should not be running this country...they take away our money and our freedoms a little at a time under the guise of helping someone. We need protection from our government!

God Bless.

Yes there are 2 bills one is HR 1592 and the other is S 1105. If passed these bills will violate our freedom of speech and our freedom of religion

These bills would make negative statements concerning homosexuality, such as calling the practice of homosexuality a sin from the pulpit, a hate crime punishable by law. This dangerous legislation would take away your freedom of speech and your freedom of religion.

A California lawsuit which is now headed to the U.S. Supreme Court would make the use of the words “natural family,” “marriage” and “union of a man and a woman” a “hate speech” crime in government workplaces

I guess they will also try to censor the word of God.

If it's true it would never pass. That would be unconstitutional to say the least. People have a right to say what they want. We have the right to call them delusional idiots to.

Homosexuality is only a problem for those delusional religious nuts. How many atheists go around crying about gays? They don't because they don't care what someone else does.

I'm not gay been married 8 years.
I've never been gay.
I don't care if you choose to be gay.
I don't care if you were born gay.
It's your choice not mine.
It does not affect me in the least.
If you kiss in front of me I might go eewwww!
That's about all I can say.
I have nothing against gays.
I have gay friends.
It's all good.

I am catholic however I am additionally very skeptical myself. But, this state legislation is ridiculous. What approximately unfastened speech? If you give up the atheist from speaking approximately faith offensively seeing that it's going to harm emotions then you definitely ought to give up the devout humans additionally motive they will harm atheists emotions. Everyone has their possess opinion. This invoice sounds logical however feel approximately it so much Atheist do not attempt to push their ideals on anybody. This is a contravention of our freedom of speech. Atheist have got to be trained admire? People who consider in God have got to be trained admire for different humans's opinion and develop up. It's a notion. They are not able to speak approximately it on the web? Stupid legislation. This comes from a catholic.

One thing that's disappointing in a free society: We seem to whine more about the rights somebody else has than worry about our own liberties. The more we fight each other, the more the big-shots are going to widdle away our individual freedoms.

In Australia, we had "Racial villification" laws passed ten years ago that cover those sorts of things.

It was very controversial at the time, but it actually turned out pretty well.....better than I thought it would.

I still think the concept is wrong, but in practice it has helped to curb a lot of hate related crime.

I would have to stand against it, not because I believe homosexuality is wrong (because I don't believe it is)......This is a free country and as long as people are not causing riots and violence by the speech they are making, they should be free to say what they want.

It should not be illegal to say "I think homosexuality is wrong because.......", as it is not illegal for KKK people to say that blacks should die.

Its freedom of speech. As long as that freedom does not incite violent acts upon the targets, then who cares what ignorant people say?

No, there is no such bill proposed either in California or in the US Congress.

Those who claim there is will give you a bill number but if you then look that bill up, you find it says absolutely nothing of the sort.
