With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.
According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

Dear friend,
The church age ended in 1988. This was the beginning of the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24). The true believers (those who really are saved) are commanded to come out of the churches (Revelation 18:4; Matthew 24:15, 16). In 2 Thessalonians 2, God tells us that the "man of sin" (who can be shown to be satan) is now ruling in ALL the churches. The reason--they have departed from the commandments of God and set up their own rules. This is exactly what brought judgment on Jerusalem and Judah when the Babylonians destroyed the nation in 587 BC. The grievous thing is that the Holy Spirit is no longer saving individuals in the local congregations, but those who remain and "think" they are serving God are actually worshipping satan. If you read 2 Thessalonians 2 you will find that those who remain in the churches are being sent a "strong delusion" by God that they may be condemned. Yes...this includes little children too.
You can Google my sources and read them right off the internet.

I'm convicted of sin and then forgiven, every minute of every day. Lord help me, the lesson was tolerance and putting on the full armor of God to fend off the incessant assaults of the world and the enemies of God.

I was personally moved by the homily that the priest gave about seeking justice instead of revenge. It was a great speech to give following those terror attacks in the U.K.
It went along with the scripture about Jesus and his disciples stopping in Samaria on their way to Jerusalem. The disciples wanted to strike down the Samaritans for being hateful towards Jesus and his crew (Samaritans were in a battle with Jerusalem). Jesus rebuked his disciples, stating that vengence is not the way.

I don't go to church. So I didn't hear anything there.
However, I did hear the beautiful sounds of the birds and other creatures in the sanctity of my very own back yard.
I did some meditation and felt wonderful!

Our priest gave a good homily about following Christ. He said we often get lost and go the wrong way then come back to Christ. Then we might veer off again, then come back. He said if we want to be true Christians we need to stay focused on Christ and avoid sin.

We learned how to pack a 72 hour kit, and how to find happiness in everyday things. It was pretty good.
In Sunday School, we learned about the parable of the ten virgins and the talents.

The preacher talked about the hyberbole of Jesus' words--or rather, if we want to think it's hyberbole because we can't, or don't want to, heed the challenge of Jesus' words.
The preacher specifically was addressing the time Jesus rebuked John and James for wanting to destroy a Samaritan town that had refused them, and to Jesus' saying "cut off your right hand if it offends you" or "the Son of Man has no place to rest his head".

I heard give me money. Your tenth isn't enough. We must start more outreach programs, schools, send more missionaries. It's not enough! It never will be. That's basically what I have heard at church for the last 30 years.
