my original yahoo account that was deleted a week or so ago is now a top contributer in religion and spirituality. But I don't understand if it's deleted how it can still 'be out there'. Meh. I wish I could view the profile but no, that information is 'missing'.

I'm sick of hearing Christians saying things like "Atheists are jealous of christians because they know we are saved"

Can any Christian understand that we are NOT jealous of you in any way.
Why do Christians need to convince themselves of such garbage?

If Jesus was not the son of God.. I want to ask this.. Then why was he chosen to have such a miracle birth why didn't he have a birth such as the other prophets and still be the messiah? Also why was his death most tragic, most brutal.. and what about his ressuraction and coming back from his death..I just want to hear others opinions and answers on this.. If you have something to add then please add.. I'm just learning the bible and when im done reading it. I will read the Quran .. i want to see the big difference and i can't judge because i have a lot to learn and there is a lot I do not know yet.. thank you.

Well anyhow, I'm Christian (Yes, that's my first name, and religion, but I go by Christ- pronounced Krist)
and I don't see why you'd say that.

I used to be a knocked up druggy who couldn't go one night without a beer. I'd cheated on my wife I don't know how many times, and occasionally beat up on her too. This was until I looked in the mirror one morning, and thought..... "Hey! What a bastard!"
I knew it was time to change, I'd ignored my kids 1, 4, and 7, and I was surprised I even knew their first names. I looked at my wife, told her all the things I'd done, pleaded forgiveness, and once she saw I was powerless, she left me.
I knew I deserved it, and a week later, after slurping down another beer, I got on my knees and prayed, "God, I know you hear me, it's time to leave this life. Whether she leaves for good, it doesn't matter, but I'm going to live a life with you from now on."

Remember when John Ashcroft draped cloth over the breasts of the statues in Washington?

I recently watched a travel program on the local public tellivision station. they were in the Louvre and actually blurred out the genetalia of a sculpture! I was FLOORED! It was something akin to the Discuc Thrower - not anything prurient. This seemed so puritanically ignorant that I was outright enraged. Is there anyone who thinks this was correct? And if so, WHY???

When did that process happen? how many years ago?

Do you think Man was on earth when Dinasours were roaming around? if so, then I assume after the dinasours were wiped out including man, if that is what you believe then what creature was left that Man evolved from?

If parents force their child to believe the religion they believe in and make them do all the ceremonial things that go with this religion after the child has explicitely stated they do not want to be part of their parents' religion?

People who deny Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will many times provoke you with this question "Are you calling me a sinner?"
and they will justify it through some moral standards that they have come to accept calling themselves good people and therefore if God exists (which He does) has to let them go to Heaven because they are "good".

So the question my dear friends who do not know Christ as personal Savior is not if we Christians think you are sinful, the question is do you see YOURSELF as sinful before Almighty God?

If you don't we can't convince you otherwise it's God who will do the conviction and when He does then you will not only see what you don't see now but you will truly be free if you accept His solution to your problem found in Jesus Christ.

If you want to answer the question by all means

I think I am going to do this everyday. I like the idea that people can post thier prayer needs or needs for positive thoughts. And that way reporters only have one question to report (we know its hard for them to find that flag button)

So need a prayer or some positive thinking would you please post it here? {Hint this is the question...yep yep}

And while I am here I will post my need for some positive thoughts. Today I am going to court and while I know I am doing the right thing I am nervous as hell....which is odd because usually I am not nervous about such things.
