This is more of a spiritual answer he gave this man , He apparently had lost "sight" he wasn't seeing things as he should, he used the opportunity to pose a symbolic situation, If thine eye offends thee pluck it out , means if your not seeing that which you wish to see change your view!!!!
In this man's case his blindness was not so much physical but spiritual.
Lack of faith , wisdom , or knowledge.
For example, "Gandhi" Once said , "be the change you wish to see in the world" .
This is a little more obvious, don't complain over what you do not "see" BE that which you wish to see!

Jesus healed a blind man but if the ability to see is causing you sin then it is better to be blind. But plucking your eye out was a metaphor.

I wish people could see simple reasonings

Two completely different situations. The second situation applies to sinning. The blind man needed healing and to see the Savior. The other person has the option to see the Savior but chooses to look another way.

Yes... I don't see what you're trying to get at. He healed the blind man, and to another he was using as an illustration, which he did often. In this case talking about the power of visual temptation/stimuli and said: “If, now, that right eye of yours is making you stumble, tear it out and throw it away from you. For it is more beneficial to you for one of your members to be lost to you than for your whole body to be pitched into Gehenna.”
Have an awesome day! =)

Jesus said no such thing. The Old Testament contains such a law, explained in the fullness of Christ's revelations. Forgive and be forgiven is the law of the lamb and the manifestation of our salvation.

Edit:
In all fairness, responding to zanzi_uk's comment below, here is the continuation of that conversation (in isolation. I suggest you read the entire gospel).

15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great [is] thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

It's all in the interpetation.
Jesus is performing a miracle giving a blind man sight.
Jesus also said "It thine eye offend thee, pluck it out."
It means that what is sinfull to you. Get rid of it. Example:
If you have a gun and intend to kill someone with it.
"Get rid of the gun."

Don't be a brat by looking for conflicts in the Bible. It is full of conflicts. Instead, look inside yourself, listen to God's word within. If you are an atheist, stay still and know thyself. Other things are rituals and foolish semantics. IT does not matter if you believe or not. What matters that you live your humanity and human-ness to the fullest!

It's becoming quite annoying that some of the Christian bashers utilize the same tactic that they accuse Christians of. Picking and choosing scriptures without reading the whole thing and making something of it that it's not. Very immature and childish. Is that as challenging as you can be?

Jesus also told his disciples not to throw pearls before swine lest they be trampled underfoot. He wasn't calling you a pig. He was merely saying that some people can't or won't understand.

He's telling a crowd of people a lesson about adultery. He wasn't talking to a blind man. He told him that if his eyes caused him to sin, then he's better off without eyes at all.

Matthew 5:27-30
27 "You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
