Its true. Because when we realise that we are here to do karma and nobody can take that thing away from us then it means we have faith ,very strong faith. We know the actual meaning of human life. God has given us this life to do some good deeds so that we can get the Moksha and that will only happen when we have very strong faith in God. So you are right when there is faith, no need to fear.

Whoever said that either never faced anything or was trying to get someone else do something.

Even Jesus had fear. Just hours before his arrest and trial, he prayed at least three times to his Father for loopholes. Being no fool, he knew what was going to happen and would truly like to avoid it. What counted though was his determination that something was greater than his fear. His desire to do his Father's will. He knew what was at stake. He overcame his fear to live his faith.

faith is a different thing than fear. whether one has faith or not, fear always should be there. i am not talking about fear against thieves. fear about facing the uncertainties ahead. nobody can say, he has no fear of his children coming under wheels, nobody can say, he has no fear of his family members drifting away from him. one who has faith, probably, he will respect more of fear!

fear is nothing but conditioned response which is seasoned with repeatition of lies.e.g. existence of ghost, various superstitions. 100% of us has not seen the ghost but if ur child will ask about it u will say(90%) yes ,but i have not seen and u will repeat a story which u have heard from ur forefathers.
as child has enough faith on father he/she will start experience of ghost in the form of fear
so faith is not directly proportional to fear.
faith is one which gives u confidence.
yes positive faith can drive out fear.
negative faith will increase ur fear enormously. love love &love.
love is faith

Fear can be a healthy response. Just because you have faith it doesn't mean you won't have fear if an 18 wheeler truck is about to hit you head on.

*This statement is true only in the case of babies; who have not so far known/experienced 'fear''.
Once u experience fear, there's no looking back !!!!!!!
Faith on the other hand is something very personal .......it need not make u fearless but yes, smtimes , it may give u the confidence to do certain things which u might o/wise not even attempt !!!!!
They r 2 parallel lines...... never meeting, but nevertheless runnning side by side !!!!

Obviously our faith in the fact, that we are eternal beings, will lead us to no fear situation.

We fear this world, because we know that it is perishable. When we accept ourselves to be eternal, how can we fear anything?

No 100% wrong.

If you have faith in God the majority of faiths are created by fear of some type of punishment.
