How could someone from another religion go to hell for believing in the wrong God, while the most notorious inquisitor of the Spanish Inquisition went to heaven for believing in the correct one?

From the story on the ruling about Harry Potter books in Gwinnett County, Georgia (Laura Mallory is the mother who brought the suit against the school):

At Tuesday's hearing, Mallory argued in part that witchcraft is a religion practiced by some people and, therefore, the books should be banned because reading them in school violates the constitutional separation of church and state.

"I have a dream that God will be welcomed back in our schools again," Mallory said. "I think we need him."

I can understand if people come to ask questions about all other religions and others enlighten us with their answers, but seems to me that all I read here is comments bashing Christianity and Christians.

What about the other religions? Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. How come no one bashes them? Why does Christianity cause so much uproar?

Thanks!

Okay, I've heard that God created Jesus, yet they both are one and exist outside of time. Now my brain hurts because I am can't understand that. Can someone explain it to me, but in very clear, easy to understand terms?

If you're a christian, where in the bible, does it EXACTLY say that we go to heaven or hell or wherever?
If you're anything else, what gives you reason to believe it?
Please, don't answer with: Faith. That doesn't answer my question.
Thank you.

I just don't mind gays or people of an other colour or think that woman are lower than men. Are all religions so nasty? I don't want to convert or anything I just wanted to ask.

After all, he offers $250,000 (which may or may not exist) to anyone who can demonstrate evolution (although he defines it differently than the scientific community) to a reasonable doubt (meaning with 100% certainty, allowing for no other possibilities whatsoever) in front of a neutral committee (handpicked by Hovind himself) and according to certain criteria (carefully worded so as to rule out any possibility whatsoever of the challenge ever being met).

Maybe it has something to do with the fact he's currently doing time in a Federal Prison for tax evasion.

I think you are Christian, judging by our answers....but how come your avatar has a boob hanging out and in your 360 profile, one of them has nipples showing through their clothing. I mean I know the pictures aren't of you...but doesn't that seem wrong to be condoning blatant displays of exposure? Or are you not Christian? lol. I'm not being offensive (not trying to be, rather) but I did wonder :)

3 = Trinity
5 = Pentagram, used in the Jewish Star of David and an early Christian symbol for the five wounds of Christ until it also became popular among the Wiccans
6 = Six days of Creation
7 = Seven trumpets
12 = 12 Disciples, 12 tribes of Israel.... Interestingly both 1 tribe (Dan) and 1 disciple (Judas) were lost....
33 = Christ was 33 when he died, which I believe was the number of years David reigned
1948 = Abraham was born 1948 years after Creation, Israel became a nation again 1948 years after Christ

God gave us free will….. but did he really? We are taught that you have free will to choose to love god, or go to hell. Is that really a choice? That sounds more like an ultimatum!! Is that really free will, can we have some other options?

what incentive is there for dogs and other domesticated animals to be obedient? why don't they all just start going crazy and killing their owners? do you suppose a system of discipline enforced by rewards and consequences can create obedience in even the dumbest of animals, or do you suppose dogs fear god as well?
