I am.
But not in the sense that it would have been taken had I said that in Aramaic, or even Hebrew.
I exist. I think, therefore, I am. If I am not, then who's typing this?
Now, if I was speaking Aramaic and conforming to their cultures and traditions, then the phrase "I am" would have an entirely different connotation, and I'd not say it for fear of being stoned for my sacrilege.
But today, in English, with our current tradition and culture, I say without fear: "I am."

"i am?" ..... NOT
That's funny.... you said word for word:
If you are a catholic, could you please answer this and say "i am?"?
Why would they put "i am?"
