I grew up with two moms and two dads, and to make it worse, two of them were christian. But like most, they just used the term to fit in. They didn't worship or know anything about the bible except for rumor and opinion. I think thats what made them the worst. They were hipocrites. They didn't practice what they preached. That is the worst type of christian or any other religious person for that matter. The type that don't even know their own doctrine, let alone follow it themselves. I have delved into all of it, at one point or another in my early life. I found it all to be fairy tales and incomplete, to the point I would give it "0" value. I chose to live by my own definition of what is. This has made me Free from the illusions.

I grew up with two Christian parents. I have to thank them both for the great job they did. I am a non-believer, but a very good father to my kids.
Religion and parenting are two different things. Because you are one does not mean you can't be the other.

You can't have 2 moms or 2 dads. You can have 1 mom and a sperm donor or you can have 1 dad and an egg donor. Or you can have 2 real parents, a mom and a dad.

From your comment I can tell that you know nothing about Christianity.
Perhaps you should check out some books on Christianity or go to wikipedia and research it.
You need to better understand something if you're going to criticize.
Christianity is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ and he was the most compassionate, loving person to ever walk the earth. He healed people no matter what their race, he socialized with the outcasts of society and he taught that we should love all people equally. We should all strive for that!
I think a lot of teenagers as yourself (I can tell you're a teenager from what you wrote) have issues with religion because of its supposed "rules". But don't confuse religion with faith. A church, a priest, rubbing ashes on your forehead, giving up meat on certain Fridays, etc...these things are "religion". Your faith is what is in your heart and your faith in Christ gives you freedom.

but the thing that you don't understand is that in your later days you will be successful. your christian parents would raise you as christians. that's good. even if you don't imagine how messed up your life would be if you had 2 moms or dads. you have no idea. you will go to heaven most likely being raised by christians. with 2 moms or dads you could turn gay or lesbian wich would send you to hell or be strung out on drugs and not follow jesus wich also sends you to hell if you don't follow jesus or god.

I think it depends entirely on who the parents are, not what their sexuality or religion is. I have a regular Mom and Dad and they're awesome!!
