How does our secret handshake work, do we pound our fists together and say satan is our pal and evolution will trick them?

I know it isn't the Harry Potter stuff
but what would be the norm for you guys to use it in

for healing etc yes ?
what are some commonly used spells etc ?

if god is true, then why does it play with those who need solid proof of its existance. we have free will, choice, yes, but if it loved its creation would it not want everyone to be "saved". so if i dont believe that i am here because of god, i am evil? i have to love it and embrace it, because it has the power to damn me. seems harsh, arrogant. i live a good life as i have said before, puting aside what IS moral and what isnt because after all who says what are good and bad morals, but my ethics tell me i am a good person. if god were true would he not want this for all his creation despite the level of belief. to live well and good. most people who are evil, know that they are. and i should be damned along with them because of my disbelief? (asuming that he were true)

According to Christianity, you're eternal life or damnation is based on the works performed in a finite life of about 75 years on average. Considering 75 years is only a drop in the proverbial bucket of eternity doesn't this seem a little harsh?

1. God LOVES you and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life.

"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" John 3:16.

Why is it that people are not experiencing the abundant life?

2. Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.

Man Is Sinful
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23.

3. Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.

"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8.

4. We must individually RECEIVE Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" John 1:12

Okay...I go to Emmaus Church Community in Lincoln, California and the Pastor's son, Isaiah, has ACL, and if you don't know what this is it's Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and it sounds like the next 30 days are the most critical; it all depends on how he takes his first chemo treatment.

I know this isn't really a question and frankly, I don't care. I am just asking that you pray for him.

His name is Isaiah Oates. He is only four years old.

Please pray for him...Please put him on your church's prayer list...he needs all the help he can get.

They were all laughing behind my back at the mall. They even put this like really gross guy up to asking me if i wuz a virgin since i wuz going to church. my freinds say religion is for losers and geeks. i know i shouldnt listen but i dont want to look like dork to all the cute guyz. did i make a good decision?

There is a hateful religion that said God told them this about me and my faith :

The Personage said that all my creeds are an ABOMINATION in his sight; that because I am a teachers that I am CORRUPT; that: “I draw near to God with my lips, but my HEART IS FROM HIM, I TEACH FOR DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN , having a FORM OF GODLINESS, but I deny the POWER of God.”

Doesn't modern science classify praying mantises as "insects"? And aren't insects defined as small animals that have six legs? And aren't legs lower limbs used for mobilization?

But somehow, I find it odd that whenever I've seen a praying mantis walking, it's only using four of its six supposed legs. Then I remember reading in the bible something about insects that "go on all four" , which seems to be a fairly accurate description of praying mantises. Why does it seem that the bible has gotten this right, but not modern science?

all the time I hear about false doctrines and popular christian ideas with no basis in scripture, ideas loosely related with scripture going off in their own direction, how can we know what is good and what is misleading us? no more silly jokes about I dont care and it doesnt matter please thats gotten tiresome.

There is a painting that really describes it best-
There is a storm in the ocean, trees blowing everywhere- etc- in the bottom corner of the picture there is a bird sitting calmly hidden from the storm behind a rock.

Peace for me is knowing God can hide me in the clef of the rock, even when the storm is all around me.
