Leviticus 20:9
"For every one that curses his father or his mother shall be surely put to death ..."

Care to guess how many kids were "put to death" because -your- god made this a law?

How do you justify worshipping a god who demanded this of his worshippers?

3. He shall make one world government.
4. Not known to the world for more then 500 yrs will give the world a great light. { (Through his teachings?) Guru Nanak? who appeared in 1469 Ad} and the people would be most contented.
5. He shall make Thursday his holiday, {Again Sikhs ? as Guru Nanak appeared ( or born) was Thursday}.
6. Nostradamus describes the war with the man in blue turban in the land of five to one. (Punjab in India? Land of five rivers.
7. Sun on the East and Saturn on the West during the war war indicates what ?
8. Easterners shall overcome the western resistance. Who ? the same as above ?
9. Long awaited shall never return to Europe (Christ?), but shall appear in East. Who the same as above?

I do not believe all Christians or all atheists are good or bad people, however, it is apparent to me that when Christians are nasty* (whether it be calling non-Christians names here or people like the Phelps family) it should be Christians who deal with them.
I honestly believe that if you are a Christian, and you watch a Christian be nasty to people and you DO NOTHING you are allowing the nasty Christians to dictate what the word Christian means. If you're okay with that, do nothing.
Several times a day, Christians post questions asking why people seem to hate them, and here's why-the nasty people using Christianity are pretty much unopposed.
Why don't Christians seem willing to police their own?

*Not all Christians are.

And say God loves you enough to go to heaven only if you do certain things? ie. Accept Jesus Christ as your saviour etc.

"God is Love: It's Unconditional
God is Love, and His love is very different from human love. God's love is unconditional, and it's not based on feelings or emotions. He doesn't love us because we're lovable or because we make Him feel good; He loves us because He is love."

Do stupid people exist? Seems pretty non-intelligent to me.

Oh wait, thats right, its really annoying when people point out non-existent flaws in established theories isn't it. Much like the old "if evolution is true why do monkeys still exist?" posed to advocates of evolution.

What we call heaven is another universe or place, existed before our universe is in another dimension angels can cross the "door" that switch both universe we are beings of 3D they are over that maybe 5D or 6D or whatever dimension but definitly higher. that is why they can see us but we can´t see them, let supposed that you have a cube and that cube is alive he is a 3D body he can see an square that is a figure of 2D because he has that 2 dimension and one more but the square that is alive(suposition) can only see his two dimension and can´t see the cube because it is from a higher dimension, angels and God are in a higher dimension that is why when you read the bible in Daniel 9:20-23 Daniel was praying and still haven´t finished when in a fraction of a second angel Gabriel showed up, because they are so close
but in a higher dimension, that we can´t see.

What do you think? by the way I am engineer so that is why i use this kind of examples.

Have you gained a greater appreciation for God's creation since you came to know Him through His Son, Jesus Christ and what does God's creation communicate to you about Him ?

Jesus is son of man and at the same time son of God. Which perspective was he speaking from when he said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Please explain why you answer one or the other.

In context John 14:5-7
5 Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"
6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

"The Mountain Meadows massacre was a mass killing of Arkansas emigrants by local Mormon militia[1] (the Iron County Brigade of the Nauvoo Legion) [2] and Paiutes on September 11, 1857 at Mountain Meadows, a stopover along the Old Spanish Trail in southwestern Utah. Sources estimate that between 100 and 140 men, women and children were killed.[3]"

Is humor our worst sin? Or don't we care cause we love to laugh? I can think of some pretty sick things I would like to do to some people. I want to walk slowly into my bank, ask politely to have my overdraft fee evoked, and use the jedi mind trick to make him concede, then to wash my dishes.

Ah, I love stuff.

I am not Catholic but my husband is - although he doesn't practice it (we weren't married in a Catholic church, he doesn't ever go to church, etc.). Normally when I attend a Catholic service such as a wedding, I will not kneel, nor will I participate in Communion.

HOWEVER, my husband's mother just passed away. At the funeral we will be sitting with his entire family who are all Catholics. Is it in someway disrespectful if I don't kneel with the rest of the family? Is it disrespectful if I don't participate in Communion? OR, is it more disrespectul if I did do these things since I'm not Catholic? I don't necessarily want to be the only one left sitting during communion, or the only one sitting when everyone is kneeling nor do I want anyone to be offended because of this. But will people who know I'm not Catholic think it's odd if I do participate?

My husband says just do what feels comfortable. Can anyone help or offer any suggestions? What is proper?

I am a Muslim , but I am not claiming I'm the only one being hated. I know theres lots of hatred towards christians and jews, and blacks, and everything. Don't think I'm singling myself out, but I'm just speaking of Islam and us Muslims for the moment.

Oh yeah, and I'm an American and don't know arabic, and never been to an Islamic country, and haven't even been to a house where the family is Muslim. I know of the beliefs and I believe in it, and I know the people are nice.

So thanks all for the responces, and don't take this as a generalization please.

Peace everyone, bye.

A hostile response is ensured as you will see from the answers that if you question the government. For example if you say the evidence points that 911 was an inside job people freak out. Watch.

If you say the evidence points to there is no God and a guy named Jesus is probably just some guy. no savior.

Why do people need blind trust in their government and a insist their is a "higher power" with no evidence whatso ever.

Basically my question is why do so many people insist on being so dumb and then on top of it insist they are right. With no evidence.

And finally you probably don't have the answer to this. But, why am I so smart?
