I trust them both and find no conflict in doing so.

With only a bit of care and study, there are no mysteries with God. We have been foretold all things. There are only mysteries to those who do not read the Living Word of God with understanding.
As for the proven facts of Science, I celebrate the Sciences. The dedicated work of the Scientists of the world should never be scorned.
There is no controversy between the truth in Gods Word, and true Science. None.

I would say that the proven facts of science are no less mysterious than the mysteries of God.

I trust in God.
I'm a biologist and I do not go against science, on the contrary. Still, science is based on paradigms and paradigms change, science's facts are not asbolute truth as many of you seem to think, they are truth until proven wrong.
For exemple:
If, right now, your computer mouse start floating in front of you we all can kiss gravity goodbye.
Science is dinamic concepts are being changed all the time, theories are proven wrong, new facts change constantly the way we see things. And thats where science's fun come from and its great and is leading manking to a new kind of understanding. Still I would'nt trust science the way I trust God for one second, science is my job, not only this its present in several aspects of my life, (i'm right now taking flu medicine and I trust its going to be good for me even though I do not know exactly what it is). And thats still diferent from the faith i have in God
I hope you understood

I've used each throughout my life to learn from, both are full of mysteries as well as facts. I look for similarities between the two as well as the contradictions.
If your too one sided in this world your definitely being close minded.
Look for the rights and understand why the wrongs are there within everything, including ourselves.
I've come to the conclusion science is God and God is science, they have both been very interesting\deep subjects to learn about in life.

You should trust Both
The problem :
1- Science : it has the limit : Godel
2- God : we know so little about what is god
3- Science & God agree - but NOT the so-called gurus of both sides
We, common people - confuse
Good news : Your Mind possesses both ability to understand both science & God : Intellectual & Intuitive
Keep Digging - You'll find the Truth
Cheers

Science is based on facts and you want to know what if god is proved o exist then it will also become a fac of science.Hundred years ago if any one said you would get instant answers from any part of the world you may say it as an act of god now it is science.Same way if i say god is near to you then you say show it to me and i would say look in to you and pray for His revelation then you would have to work for it.Any fact of science has come after long haul of work and one day science will itself prove the presence of GOD.

the proven facts of science control our everyday lives, I don't see how they can be trusted less. If I'm stnding at a cliff I'm not gonna jump off because I think god will reverse gravity for me, the world doesnt work like that.

You can trust science all you want. but , science can not answer all your question, on how to deal with life.
Science can only prove what exist, not what doesn't. So if something comes from out of nowhere, then how would scientist, answer to it?
Science only base their findings, on things they can see, or touch. But they can not explain the unexplained.

Proven facts of science. I am somewhat empirical about the world, but i also believe that the world of science and a belief in god are not irreconcilable (whereas the rift between religion and science is).
