if you think about it christianity is just a mix of other peoples religions! there is a strong chance that buddism could have been absorbed into the testiment as a way of trying to convert others!

The old testament completed before Buddhist scripts. How could it be possible. Can you list the similarities??

Nope- Buddhism is officially non-theist and the Old Testament is specifically monotheistic. Besides, it follows the history of the Israelites- I don't see how Buddhist texts from India could do that.

I have often wondered that. However, there are many cultures that have had "christ like figures" with really uncanny similarities.

Perhaps "Jesus" walked the Eath more than once, or perhaps cultures are just copying off of each other.

Only some of the moral precepts are similar- the theological insights from Christian scripture have no resemblence to anything in Buddhism.

Actually Buddha was after the time of Christ,and you know the saying Do unto others as you would have them do unto you he he got it from the bible.It's a exact verse out of the bible.

No, they are not. I study in those manuscripts (Old Testament) and you have absolutely no idea what you are saying.
