I am in between Secular Humanist and Satanist, but I don't like the term "Atheist," because it's too general. What should I call myself? (Serious answers only, please.)

s blood to every account and allow all men into heaven, whether they were saved or not, would you be upset with God for it or rejoice in the fact that no one goes to hell other than Satan and his demons?

our teacher gave us 6 topics we should know- synagogues and rabbis, the chosen people/covenent/, the torah/the law, their concept of suffering, and the holocaust/pogroms. through all of these topics we should know how Jews stayed together as a community and survived all these centuries as a whole.

There has been discussion that the LDS Temple Ceremonies are stolen from Masonic Ceremonies.
Are they similar, and if so, what would be the reason for this similarity?

Romans 3:10-12

10As it is written:
"There is no one righteous, not even one;
11there is no one who understands,
no one who seeks God.
12All have turned away,
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one."

Hebrews 11:19
Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death.

Romans 4
8Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."[d] 19Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah's womb was also dead. 20Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

I am a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ and it seems like the title Christian gets a bad rep from the secular world.

You might say, well yeah-they aren't Christians, of course they are going to give us a bad rep.

I guess I just wonder what kind of person an individual met to make such poor generalized statements about Christians, then again, I guess that goes for any group of people.

When people ask me, "Are you a Christian?" I reply with, "I am a follower of Jesus Christ and I try each and every day to live my life according to His will. I try to take up my cross daily. Yes, I am a Christian." Because I know if I say yes first they will quickly redirect the conversation.

Do you face the same kind of bad generalization?

You never really learn anything so how could it be punishment? usually with punishment you are sent somewhere for a short amount of time to ponder and truly feel sorry for what you did. So in that case hell can't be punishment but eternal damnation for not believe in god. sounds pretty mean to me.

Would you try and kill your friend? After all, if God is only testing you, he will stop you in time right? So, your choice, faith in God, or being a good person and loving friend?

Life is often portrayed as spontaneously arising from some sort of "primordial soup". There it is ... quiet, tranquil, warm nutrients in a primitive sea, a lightning strike in the distance is imparting the energy of life ... soon life will be emerging to the shores... Hold it, not so fast here! To go from a barren lifeless planet to a one filled with living things, we would have to pass through a number of stages:
EARLY ATMOSPHERE -
For starters we need a favorable environment for life to evolve and be sustained.
SIMPLE ORGANIC MOLECULES -
We need a means of constructing the building blocks of life.
LARGE MACRO-MOLECULES (proteins, DNA, RNA, etc.) -
Some the simple molecules must be assembled into biologically useful large molecules.
BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS -
Energy conversion must be constructed.
LIVING CELL -
And finally, all these molecules and systems must be assembled together to form a highly complex living cell.

I'm not saying it's a good thing; would just like to hear your views.

It may help overcoming it. :-)

Can it be helpful, to some extent?

Is the right way "a middle path"?

What do you think?

Or would God prefer these people to be a bit more modest?

If I was God....(and I'm sure a lot of you will actually thank God that I'm not)...most of the so-called 'Christians' on here wouldn't stand a chance!

What if he was testing you to see if you had enough faith in him to do nothing and trust in him to see for your child's safety?

Are you showing a lack of faith in God by rushing to their rescue?

Would God truly let something happen to your child if you did nothing?

GAL005:002 --Behold, I Paul say unto you , that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

Paul introduced the very foundation of Paganism into Christianity and thereby guaranteed the failure of these "renegades" whom he hated before "converting".

Was the Paulian hijacking of Christianity the greatest act of sabotage in the history of mankind ?

Who are you going to trust ? Thousands of years of revelation through hundreds of Prophets or a man named Paul who never even met Jesus ?

If your child is meant to die according to God's plan and will then it's their time right? So whether you run into the street to save him or not, God's will and plan will be done right? If you would run into the street to save your child, why? Don't you trust in God's plan for your child?
