Yes I agree with the scripture. However, to understand it we have to know that in ourselves we are not righteous. In fact, the bible teaches us that "our righteousness is as filthy rags."
Before we accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts we all had turned away from God, we were worthless, but once we become born again (saved) we are righteous, not in ourselves, but in Christ.

I agree with this Scripture in the light of Isaiah 1.All of us are like straying sheep. God says to come and talk to Him about the matter so He can fix it.Though your sin be as scarlet,He can make it white like snow.In 1John 1:9 the writer declares we are sinners; but we do not need to remain in that condition. That is why like the prodigal son, we (mankind) need the robe of righteousness. We wear robes of filthiness until we are transformed by beholding Jesus and being renewed in our minds. When God removes our stony heart and replaces it with a heart of flesh that has His laws written on the fleshy tables, then sin loses its mastery. We can walk in the assurance of deliverance from darkness- into the marvellous light of God.The Advocate knows His own; and He watches over His Word to perform it.

Yes, but note that that scripture is not Romans, it is a quotation from Psalms and Ecclesiastes, so you need to see the context.
Psalms 14:13 and Psalm 53:3 speak of "the fool".
Ecclesiastes 7:20 makes the point later seen in Romans 5:12 that ALL have sinned...
"For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin."
So the point and context is... "THAT is why we ALL need a Savior. No one is excluded".
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." - 1 John 1:8
Because of Jesus, we can be forgiven.
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Yes. That's why Christians can truthfully say, "Glory to God'. He brings the works of righteousness to those who trust Him. No other works are eternal.
That's a reflection of worshipping Him in spirit and truth.

jesus christ! could you please keep your bible quotes in CONTEXT!!! this is not written about todays world...I am too lazy to get up and get out the bible, but it most certainly has to do witha people the lord was disappointed with...like sodom and gammorah (sp?) or something like that.
I am not defending to "good book" as I am not christian, but obviously you have taken this quotation out of context!
