Try to imagine it. The heat would make the air wavy. Everyone would be black and covered with glowing ashes, screaming. You think your God is good? He's the most unspeakably evil character ever invented.

I often ask myself if Xians ever read the atheist responses to their tired old apologetics. Can they not see why we deny the existence of such horrible beings as the christian god?
The christian faith is a barbaric mix of nonsense and brutality. The bible is filled with murder, incest, racism, bigamy, bigotry, misogyny and a number of other horrible things.
The worst thing about the Xians who answered is that they have no problem worshiping a god that says love me or I will torture you for all eternity.

How many of these type questions are you going to ask?? What are you trying to prove?? My answer would be yes I would be okay with God because it is not his fault that Satan fell from heaven and took so many of the angels with him. Those angels feel for what Satan was saying and the same goes today...if you fall for what Satan tells you and you do not believe than that is not God's choice it is yours! God is waiting until every hear has had the opportunity to hear his word and then the choice is no longer his...you choose him or Satan no other way around it! AND...if you read or bodies will be changed....they will not be charred because it will be a body that can burn for eternity! Ooops you forgot that huh?

I do not have to see those people screaming in hell not to feel anguish. I am not "okay" with it. First, God never created hell and He will destroy it one day. However, He has created the lake of fire and sulphur, which He never intended for human beings. When someone rejects Jesus Christ, they choose not to live with Him forever. He then shuts them out His kingdom in accordance with their wishes. satan is happy to snatch them. Do you think God is okay with people burning in hell? He hates it. It agonises Him but He cannot choose for those people.
Could you argue that perhaps they could be let out of hell? Sure, you could, but then where would they go? Would they turn to Jesus Christ after they have died? Would it be a sincere repentance. Knowing the heart of God the way I do, I would allow them to repent even then if it were possible. I do not yet have a full explanation as to why people would not repent after they have died but I will find it one day, just as I have found many answers for difficult questions.
It would hurt me to know people, especially those I love, were suffering so terribly for eternity but I do know God would be in agony too. It hurts me now to know most of the people I care about are currently destined for hell because they reject Jesus Christ. He is anything but a distant God. He is a God who weeps and who was tortured to show that He is with us, that He really does love us and that He doesn't want anything terrible to happen to us and that He feels pain. He cannot choose our actions for us though.

God does not allow it. We choose our eternity. If I saw a video of it I would be saddened that those in the lake of fire didn't heed the warnings and still chose to live a life without the Lord. The Bible says He wishes none perrish but have everlasting life. He can't choose for us. We make our own decision on eternity with the free will he gave us.

You're assuming that christians have any real feelings of their own. They really don't. All they do is blindly follow the bible and their preachers/pastors/parents/whoever. Also, lot's of them are cruel and will gladly tell you that you are damned to hell for all eternity. It's their arrogance, ignorance and intolerance, they are like mindless zombies.

Try to think like they do.
Imagine if you would, that you know a God exists and exists as the Christians explain him to. With knowledge that God exists, and is in all ways perfect beyond our recognition, would you question his judgment.
Christians have a base knowledge in their religion which is similar to how you and I would see a volcano, we know it exists and not to jump in it. Do we blame nature if someone decides to take the plunge, or perhaps someone was drunk as all hell and tripped into it? No, we are likely to blame the person or the situation.

i was proud of my (then 8 year-old) son when he asked that sort of question, and i threw the question back at him.
after discussing it, he said he hasn't decided yet if its ok or not, but the important thing is to know what kind of god one would believe in.
besides, he said, all sorts of people call god with all sorts of names and see god in all sorts of ways...

God has to allow it. The only alternative is to rescind the free will of humans, turning them into animals ruled by instinct like other animals. If humans have free will, God must respect their choices of free will, including the choice to totally reject God and spend eternity in total separation from Him.
Too bad all human beings don't have the opportunity to view such a video. It might impress upon them the horror of sin.
