If your child is meant to die according to God's plan and will then it's their time right? So whether you run into the street to save him or not, God's will and plan will be done right? If you would run into the street to save your child, why? Don't you trust in God's plan for your child?

I'm a Christian but I honestly wouldn't be thinking about God in that terrible situation. I will try and save my child.

What often has a tendency to take place is that the motive force of the automobile has a tendency to get blamed merely b/c he's interior the vast automobile that a procedures outweighs the pedestrian.. in spite of the undeniable fact that, what i think of is the case, is that whoever replaced into interior the incorrect of way is at fault for the twist of destiny - say, if it incredibly is a highway with one-way site visitors and the pedestrian runs ultimate into it .. or if the pedestrian breaks the jogging sign, and then gets hit, or if it incredibly is a pointy turn for autos and there are apt symptoms and symptoms however the pedestrian would not persist with them, i think of the pedestrian is at fault.

"Time and unforeseen occurrence befall us all."

God doesn't predestine anything for us. Our life is determined by a sequence of actions and consequences. If you kill a person, going to jail isn't part of God's plan- it's the result of a bad decision.

Bad things happen to good people because we live in a wicked and tumultuous world that "is lying in the power of the wicked one."

So if my child were in the street, I would do anything possible to keep them safe. If they got hit, it would be the result of the driver's actions or simply a freak accident, not God's plan for anyone.

We have God given free will, and His having a "master plan" for each and every one of us would sort of cancel that out, making Him out to be a liar and we all know that "God cannot lie."

I don't believe in God at all so for me personally...I would run into the street to save my child. I would give my own life for my child.

I will honestly say if I had the ability to save my child, I most likely would. But I fail to see the significance of my child dying having a resounding effect on the rest of humanity. Now, if my child was a grown man, and had the ability to decide for himself right from wrong, and was a leader of the people and his enemies had him and I knew I would die if I even tried to save him and he told me not to save him, that it had to be in order to save millions/billions of people in the future....then I think I would reconsider.

One one God always said was to use wisdom. Save the children. Trusting in God doesn't mean that you should be foolish. You trust God to help you through situation that you can not change or control.

God gave us our children and we are charged with protecting and raising them.

Christians do not just sit and wait for things to happen calling it divine providence.

God expects us to live, work, care for each other...one of his commandments is to love one another. Out of love a parent would run after their child to save them.

I do trust in God, but I don't think he orchastrating everything. Sin and Satan abound in our world...always working to turn us from God.

That's really a silly question and shows how little you understand of Christianity and God.

I would rush to save him and trust God's plan after. God expects us to use common sense.

No. God's plan for me and to my child to keep him/her safe. :)
God gave me the ability to know right from wrong. I trust Him, but that does not mean that I should tempt God. : )
