a christian once told me to pick up a bible and read it and it will totally change my life. so i picked one up and nothing positive happened to me in fact i went to prison the very next day i finished reading it.

when i came out of prison i met an old buddy of mine and he told me about the Trump secret tactics on how to become rich so i bought the DVD and followed Trump's instructions and now my life totally changed. i can proudly say that i'm rich and happy.

so is Donald Trump's DVD better than the christin bible which is supposedly the christians' manual to live a happy life???!!!

doesn't that mean that he could have embellished a little bit? This isn't whether God exists or not, it's about a human, writing down an orale tradition. And since oral stories can be changed over time and embellished, couldn't the man that wrote the bible have done the same? I'm a Christian but am questioning my faith and the way of the church.

I am looking for a movie to play at a family camp session. I need it to have a christian story because this is a bible camp. We are doing a medievil theme, so it would be nice to find something along that line. This movie will be for the adults to watch one evening. Does any one have any ideas?

I believe that ALL men and woman on earth are the chosen ones. But if you believe that the Jews are the "Chosen ones" Was God a bigot? Did he only favor one group of people? Why would he just not make everyone the chosen people? Why would he make a sub-par human that was not chosen? Why would God only favor only a very small Group of his inventions? Was everyone that was not Jewish a mistake and just a refirbished product?

The idea of eating what was supposed to be the flesh of Christ made me really upset and I would still be forced to do it by my parents and by my teachers...I had nightmares about dead Christ and Devil's standing beside my bed and was too scared to open my eyes at night in case I saw them or a vision of Mother Mary lurking in the shadows of my bedroom or looking in through my window.

If there is evidence that the Gospels were circulating around 60 AD and so were the eyewitnesses, how would a resurrection claim survive if all one had to do was visit a tomb that wasn't empty. Surely the Romans would of kept it guarded. Give evidence not speculations. Remember even Jesus' own were willing to deny the event in the beginning.

When studying the bible, one finds that God spoke to Adam and Eve, Cain after killing Abel, Noah, Moses, Lot, Abraham, Job & Joseph, earthly dad to Jesus. Has anyone noticed that God spoke to people pre-Bible being written, but never during the writing nor after, up to the present time? And if God wasn't literally conversing with humans, he'd appear or have his angels appear in dreams.
So, what's wrong with conversing with humans 1-1 today?

People say, "I pray to God" but they never say, "God spoke to me; we had a great conversation about my prayer"....makes one wonder about this God and his being so choosy about who he'll actually talk to.

it really isn't their problem. a lot of people say that it is oppression, but a lot of muslim women who wear it say they don't mind it or even like it! no, women are not below men in Islam, if anything, their status is higher because they should be protected.
