Yes. And the more you grow in Him, the more He can let you know what that is. It's all over the Bible. With Moses and Aaron, Joseph, Jacob, Isaac, and basically every other person in the Bible. God created us, so He is the only One who knows everything about us and what He wants us to do.
My mission is to work with young people and help them to know God, give them the message and help them however they need to be helped. I am also supposed to be singing. I know of my purpose and have known for years. It is my own fault that I keep getting knocked down, but God keeps putting me right back in those positions. There is no doubt in my mind that I have a purpose and in the Bible, God lets us know that we all have a purpose. And He is the One to give it to us.

No. In the Bible, God acted at the level of nations, usually. Most people were just "multitudes" or "followers" and weren't individually granted missions. This is probably true today.
But - it makes you wonder -- just what was going on during the Holocaust, eh?

we may not know what our mission is or in what way we are carrying it out or are going to carry it on but i would say yes he does.
