Seriously. When you say a miracle happens, what happens in that miracle that associates it to your religion? How do you know wasn't some other deity? How do you know it wasn't just coincidence?

Miracles do happen. Those of us who are Christian believe that because Jesus performed many miracles.

I don't believe in modern day miracles. I believe Jesus and the disciplines performed miracles, but I believe that was for a purpose...to get the attention of people when the Word was spread by word of mouth and no scripture as we now have it existed. I believe God put into motion the laws we call the Laws of Nature, and that certain things just happen according to those laws. This is why the rain falls on the just as well as the unjust. I don't believe, no matter how good a person you are, that God is going to reach down and pull you out of the car and gently place you in a safe spot as the car spins out of control and goes over the cliff. I do believe that if you don't drink or drug before you get into the car, keep the car in good mechanical shape, drive with road conditions in mind, drive defensively, and keep alert, the chances of your being involved in this type of incident is lessened. If the car goes over the cliff and is broken into little pieces and burns and you are thrown clear and walk away...then I think you are very fortunate, but I don't think it was a miracle. I don't know about "other diety", I only know of one. Some things are coincidences, "right time or wrong time and place" things. If my bread lands butter side up...doesn't mean I'm living right. If it lands butter side down...doesn't mean I'm doing something wrong...except possibly not holding on tight enough to my bread.

A miracle is an event that contradicts natural law. For example, someone being healed of Aids when as humans we know of No Cure for it. Every miracle I have heard or witnessed myself has been connected with the pressence of God in Jesus name. Along with the personal knowledge of where it came from is supernaturally given to the one it happens to. God wants the glory and to Him it is due, so he will let it be known if it is his or not.

I recently experienced a miracle which did not occur until I prayed for Jesus to help me with something which is all the connection I need. It shows me that God is the one who took care of it, not me. Also what had happend in itself was no way a coinsidence, because there is only one thing that it was in which there was only one way for it to happen.

Being a Christian, I am prone to believe that miracles are directed by the God of the Christian religion...but why couldn't it be another diety granting me a miracle?

If I denounced all other dieties, why would they want to give me miracles? I am left to assume that it is my own God performing them for me.

Well I don't have a religion. Can you rephrase the question?

But as always,
Thanks for allowing me to testify to the deity of Jesus Christ as Lord, King of Kings and miracle worker!
